Terri Diving is fun. It's too bad that you never round a good group to dive with. It's never too late to give it another shot. Take a refresher course and enjoy the ocean.

Mern Thank you for the hug, I needed it.

Almeeker you made me laugh with your comment about scales. They are my friend when they show weight loss and not so much when they don't. I give the scale entirely too much power in my life.

1) 6 glasses H2O daily. Come on, if I can't drink 48 ozs then I oughta cluck at a duck and sniff a truck (this is my imitation of Steven Tyler's odd {and more profane} sayings on American Idol, which I no longer watch.) 11 boo yah!; 8, maybe 9; 10
2) protein is my friend - eat this - yes; yes till it's coming out my err ears, YES
3) sugar is not - don't eat that -yes, yes, yes
4) Oat bran is yummy. Tell myself that as I eat it once daily.- yes, yum; I made it into a kind of gruel even Oliver Twist wouldn't eat and no one would say please sir I want more; yes more gruel
5) 20 minutes or more of movement a day (I mean I'm not 90 fer goodness sakes and there ARE 90 year olds more active than me. In fact, I know at least 3.) half hour at least; no; half hour walk
6) be a stretchy mama - yes; yes - but no polyester!!!; yes stretching is saving my back from aching
7) write two hours minimum a day 5 days a week - yup at least; class today; yes
8) stop being so pissed off at everyone which I'm telling you right now I failed Monday morning on a GRAND scale, an EPIC scale, hell, an OPERATIC scale, (chewed DH a new one, no, no, no two new ones while singing opera about "my rights") but will try for the rest of the day and the week. Yessir. - trying, EPIC FAIL, totally irritable especially at chore averse child: could it be lack of pretzels or any frigggin carbs?!? I ask you
9) stop cleaning DD's room for her, you dirty (or clean?) little enabler you - Yup ansd I did not pick up after her, make a special dinner or let her skip chores and she cleaned out part of her room : woo hoo; T: no room cleaning on anyone's part; W: left her to do her chores and told her no set building in drama tomorrow unless she gets them done beforehand; if not, she will be home to do em. Grrrrrrrrr.....

At least I am out of "attack"ode (at least on Dukan, not vouching for any other part of my life.) Tomorrow I will add veggies back in and we will see how long I can last on this ludicrous plan. Strangely enough, the fact that it is so restrictive makes it easier to follow in ways. However, I have a headache that I think is from this unbalanced diet. I just need a sensible diet and some WILL POWER and maybe a personal trainer for me, she of little movement, and a personal chef (tho DH is pretty darn close: what are you eating nowadays he will cheerfully ask.) And I need my DD to stop being such a rassa frassin' TEENAGER, a group of people that I think comes from the planet ANNOY THE CRAP OUT OF YOU. Just saying.

BTW I have been logging in my food and it has been around 1250 calories or so because let's face it, how much protein can you eat and I am wondering if that is what is responsible for the weight loss: the lower calorie intake and if I ate like oh say a normal person, whatever that means, and ate 1250 calories of you know a more balanced diet wouldn't I lose weight anyway and not feel like taking a hostage and forcing them to give me an Advil the size of Mount Rushmore? Problem is, when left to my own devices lately I will eat everything short of the cat food.

Tori... here ya go. Top left was last year ~800 pounds of crawfish. I had 4 pots going at a time and handled it LIKE A BOSS! The others were just little boils that I did at the house.
