and being the Food Porn Junkie that I am, I clicked the thumbnail.....

Had a good day. Did some shopping (still no boots) and finally met up with the family for lunch. After lunch we went back to the market and spent some more money. I finally got everyone back home their gifts, and myself a new purse! Who needs boots!! (ME, I need boots) Had a couple of drinks and then went on the most boring ghost tour EVer!!! We took drinks along, and it was still boring. Wound up ditching a little more than half way through and went and had our palms read. It's always been something I wanted done, and glad I did it. Chick was spot on with some of the things she said, with both me and my friend. She didn't get into all the "in your future" stuff, but more gave us a general run down on who we were as people. And some of the stuff she said was pretty scarily accurate. I'll load and post pics maybe in the morning. My feet are swollen from all the walking today, so I think I'm going to chill for a while.

Check in with y'all tomorrow! 'Night!

They are open until 10pm. Too late now. I figured you did.

Oh yeah... you've been thrown under that bus.

well, I'm just sayin'. We went by, they were closed!

And that bus hurt!!! I wasn't the only one who agreed it was a good idea though. And it would make a nice little punishment for you.

Make you a deal, since we know you can't handle 10 miles. How about 5? You make it to the end before me and I'll do it, but if you don't...

And, why should I be punished? What did I do?

See. That's not a fair deal and you know it! I've been waving at the back of the wagon all week, and have YET to hit the fitness center. You know you'd be running circles around me.

And why shouldn't you be punished? It's a just cause type of thing.

Actually I think it was more of your challenge to keep up with Amy this week. And some how, Zumba youtube vid seemed like the perfect punishment. Pink Jingle Belt, was added by Amy

Wildbeanerz – I send you strength. You don’t even look old enough to have teens. I will only say my oldest child was a challenge and we went through some very dark times. Today at 32 she is the most amazing mother of two beautiful girls. I’m very proud of how she turned herself around. She said she wouldn’t have been able to do it without knowing that I always loved her no matter what, sometimes I just didn’t like her.

Mern- my goal was to average 1600 calories a day, on Monday I already was at a high of 1900, Tuesday was 1400 so I still had to grab 100 calories to get the 1600 average which I did today at 1500.

Kumochi My Zumba lady is bigger than I am, and energetic, she’s from Jamaica and can move her girls around like no one’s business. Canary just shake your girls, no rhythm required.

Almeeker – you are hilarious

Glad to see Mike and Tori are still married. lol.

I’ve already screwed up my half-lent goal by swearing at my finger getting caught in the closet door. Does Lent have a time, I’m hoping it is sunrise or something as it was 5 in the morning, and really only the dog was home.
The eating is going okay, I’m staying within my goal but was totally freaked out when I looked at how high the sodium was in my cottage cheese.

I am having a I want something to eat but really I’m not hungry moment so I am staying on Fitday until it passes. Weigh in day tomorrow, judging by my clothes I’m a little dubious but will take what comes cuz it just might be a correction.

Have a good day all. I have a hankering for crawfish.

SEE! Zumba for not keeping up with Amy! Not sure of what your punishment is when I win OUR bet.....

I am up for walking tomorrow though, if you're still game.

As for zumba, frankly, it frightens me. The people who practice is it seem very energetic and well... very very happy. They beckon me inside with no knowledge of how rhythmically impaired I actually am. I can barely walk on straight ground.

Seriously. I was taking a not very challenging walk today and midway thru I felt like lying down right on the sidewalk. (Thank you fibromyalgia and lack of sleep.) I said to myself I'm not gonna make it. But I couldn't call DH who is CRAZED with work and it felt dopey to call one of my friends who would have gladly come get me. So like pregnant women and bodybuilders world wide, I pushed through. And survived and in fact, was better for it. And EARNED my spot on the couch.

Now, does anyone have a pretzel? A breadstick? A cracker even? Yeah this Dukan diet kinda... what's the word? blows. Is that a curse word?

But hey, I lost 3 pounds. I'm gonna go kick the poopy nuggets wall now...
ROFLMBO (roll on floor laughing my booty off). And you call me funny! Hahahaha, my kids are looking at me like they want to put me in a home. I used to love that commercial where the woman makes a call from a pay phone saying, "I quit jogging, come get me NOW". I can totally relate to the not feeling it business. I could not face Bob Harper this morning, the plan said I was supposed to do Cardio Rev Up, but my body said "Oh HECK no, if there's a workout it's gonna be that walkin' lady". So that's what I did, but I managed a full 70 minutes and got maybe 1/2 a runner's high. Zumba frightens me too, but not nearly as much as the "Crazy Early Body Pump" class. The people leaving Zumba are smiling and sweaty, the people leaving body pump are purple, gasping for air and cussing out the pint sized Barbie that leads it, she's a sadist.

Problem is, when left to my own devices lately I will eat everything short of the cat food.
You my friend need some carbs, nothing crazy at this point an apple would be enough for an entire attitude makeover. One day my DD and I were squabbling about something and she grabbed and apple and handed it to me and said, "here eat this, you're always nicer after an apple". She's 10, but she's pretty stinking smart.

Um, BTW I've eaten cat food and it's really not that tasty, big waste of your budget that. If you're going to eat something with carbs, you'll be much happier with Bunny Munch (my dad's term for a big fat salad).
