I have got my best results just doing things slowly dropping something like crisps or fizzy drinks a week at a time while trying to keep up 3 - 4workouts a week which range from resistance training...

Walking or rucking with a back pack every other day for 30+ minutes, easy on joints great for mental health and very little kit needed except clothes and decent walking trainers/shoes
