i've lost about 1.5 since last week. 31.5lbs gone now, can't wait until it's over 35 (and conversely, i'll be under 200)- but i'm avoiding the scales for a day or two because i ate fish tacos and drank a couple beers last night with a coworker >< yesterday was rough. hopefully today will be much better- i'm definitely going to be hitting the gym hard- that's for sure!

I have lost 1 pound since last Wednesday... and I am thrilled. I exerciesed 5 times during the course of the week and my calories stayed between 1400-1700.

Fourank, you are really doing amazing! Keep it up!

Molly, so glad to hear you are back in the swing and congrats on your loss of 1.4 pounds. That is amazing!

Nessasonic, great idea to avoid the scale and avoid the guilt because it's counter productive. Sounds like you are right back on track and that's the way to do it. We have to have our deviations once in a while because this is a lifestyle change and if we are too restrictive it could lead to total derailment. Great job! Congrats on your amazing accomplishment so far! I can't wait until I am able to say that I've lost 35 pounds!

Last Wednesday I was at 164.5 and this morning I weighed 163.4, so down 1.1 pounds for the week. I had a really rough weekend food wise, it was my dd's birthday so I ate cake, ice cream, pizza and junk food for 3 days. Ugh!! So 1.1 pounds is pretty good considering... This next week should be better, the pieces for my elliptical arrived yesterday, so once I get that fixed my workouts should be more consistent.

Great job everyone! I have lost 3 lbs. since last week...down 6 lbs. so far and celebrating them. I didn't eat the best at the beginning of this week but I am back on track. Hoping it balances out. I started C25K which is 3 days a week and walking on the other days with at least 1 day off somewhere in between. I have a small goal recently. I have a pair of pants that I can fit into but they just don't look quite right yet....I am hoping that in 2 weeks I can fit into them nicely.

Default Hello All!

I like the idea of a weekly check in.
I've been at this it seems like forever, gaining and losing the same 20 pounds.
This time is different. No matter how long it takes.
I've been doing the Couch Potato to 5K Running Plan. I'm at week 3 and it's coming along. I'm going to run this afternoon after work.
I gained 1.3 from last week when I got on my Wii this morning. I am not going to get discouraged.

40 down and 20 to go...at least until I reset a target weight....

Goal 199 (interim goal) by September 30, 2010

Congrats to everyone on the achievements for the week, including the positive attitudes! I'm maintaining and it's been a challenge...son is in tournament this week, so we are grabbing food when and where we can. So far I have passed on the debut of the spicy chicken sandwich at Chick-Fil-A (their grilled chicken fruit salad is great) and today the restaurant we were at was so cold (despite it being 85 outside) that I could order soup. So...dodging bullets .

Yes I agree the positive attitude is great. keep your head down when dodging those bullets. I wish I could say it was 85 outside but it is a nice cool 120-130 outside for me.

Well I had my official weigh in today and I am down 3 pounds from last week. I am closer and closer to my life goal.

Together we can reach out goals.

I am 201 today! I think last wed. I was 203.5? I can't remember. But I plan on breaking 200 by Friday morning if I can. I plan on cutting back on the sugar to give me a bit more of an edge. I haven't been eating as clean as I started out. I want to get back to that way of eating. I also just really want to see that 199 on the scale- even if it's 199.9.

By next wed. weigh in, I want to be 199 or lower

oh yea- and that means I am currently 34lbs lighter than less than 4 months ago...
