Monday Evening Check In
Goals:

1. Eat Clean: No, No
2. 3 L: 2.5, 3
3. Take Vitamin: Yes, Yes
4. Move: Yes, Yes

Food:
Today was not a “Clean Day”, but I regret nothing. Made sure that my Babymomma friend ate and kept my calories under control at the same time, so I’m okay that a couple hundred of my calories are filthy. I know I’ll pay for it tomorrow, hell I’m already paying for it now, but I’m worried about her. She’s caught up in the “I have to be skinny immediately post-baby” mindset, and going days without eating :/

Exercise:
On D1W2 of my 10K plan!! I’m feeling great! I’m able to find this place physically & mentally where I just go into cruise control and I feel like I can go for hours! It is fantastic! But you know what they say able comfort zones- Nothing ever grows in them. Looks like it’s time to start pushing! I was the pace setter today (15 min mile) because my jogging partner of the day hadn’t worked out in, well, ever, so I tried to teach her about stretching, posture, and breathing while talking her through some of the difficulties that she was experiencing at home.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy run!

Mern: Oh goodness you poor dear! Have you tried a heating pad on the area?!

Mike: Honey, baby, sweetie, darling- Pack your beaver lunch the night before!

Damn Terri, I thought I replied to you earlier. It's nice to have you back!

mh, packing a lunch won't do me any good. I was home all day with food ready to go. I just got so busy. I'll try, scratch that, I WILL do better tomorrow.

McDonald's has an interesting promotion in my area right now. If you buy a Big Mac or Egg McMuffin, you get the second one for the price of yesterday's temperature. So, if it goes below zero, which it very well may, do they have to pay me?? lol

Of course, now that I've cleaned up my act, I guess I can't participate!

Sneaks would probably insist that every temperature be in Kelvin.

Darlene ~ I really enjoy hiking in the woods & enjoy nature that way. But I'm a wimp right now in the cold. So, I'm working on finding variety of ways to do aerobics.

Mern ~ I'm also taking fish oil. In fact, I think the dietician thought that a plus. She stated to make sure that mercury was not part of the making though. Tell me about avacado -- how do you incorporate that in your eating? How does avacado benefit pre-diabetic diet? Thanks for your tidbits.
Do you use flax seed?

Anyone is free to respond with their own insight!
