Amy: I always thought a bikini wax was when you just got your inner thighs done, but the Brazilian was the whole shebang - like Mern said. You're lucky with those Native American genes; I've never had a wax job done but I'm sure it's a very iiiiinteresting experience. I wish I had gotten pictures of my hair from the back, it was GORGEOUS. It had 83 bobby pins in it though - taking those out at midnight was SO FUN.
I also wish you had taken pictures of the back, especially since it's as close as I'm getting to a salon for a while yet. The only times in my life that I've had that many bobby pins in my hair, somebody ended up married before the night was over.

Heck no. I actually cracked up when you complained about how short women's running shorts are, welcome to my world, and just think if you had a girlish figure you'd have a lot more junk in your trunk to pack in those shorty shorts. And if you think the shorts are short, the tennis skirts are worse because not only are they short, but low riding as well. Aren't you glad you didn't volunteer to wear high heels and pantyhose?

4. Calorie deficit 5,000 or higher. -1,711, -1,444, -888 (total -4,043)
5. Exercise 7 hours. 90 min, 85 min, 0 min (total 2:55)
6. 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and 15 sets of twinkle toes. 20-0-20-3, 20-25-20-3, 0-0-0-0 (total 40-25-40-6)
7. Log all foods and check in on this thread daily. Y,Y,Y
Other Goals:
1. Housework 45min daily + 1 load of laundry. YY, YY, YY
2. Get 2 Halloween costumes finished. Worked on youngest DDs, Worked on youngest DDs, Still working.
3. Call grans. N,N,N
4. Finish beets & tomatoes. Finished tomatoes, 1/2 done with beets. Finished beets, they are too much WORK!
5. Finish picking the garden. N,N,N raining cats & dogs out there
6. Plants the odds and ends in the flower bed. N,N,N rain
Today went well especially considering the rough start. I couldn't sleep last night and ended up snacking after midnight, so by the time I finished breakfast I was already at 600 calories for the day and had slept through my usual workout. But I managed to plan around it and ended the day just below 1,400. That's sort of new for me, usually once I'm over I just throw in the towel and start fresh the next day or maybe 3-4 days later. But today I pulled up my big girl panties and made a plan, didn't stick to it letter for letter, but close enough to pull off a decent deficit.
Anyway I caught up on all the posts, welcome aboard to the new voices and high fives to the rest of you, especially Mike for his fund raising efforts and taking full ownership of his pink promise. I wish I had a little time to chat right now, but it's a school night and the monsters, um I mean lovely daughters, need to be wrangled to their bunks. And somehow or another my sitting here typing to you and consequently ignoring them is not making it happen. Go figure.

Oh yesterday did not end as expected, I had an unplanned dinner invitation. Today is still touch and go... we will see how hungry I get later.
