7-Day Motivational Thread Starting 10/10/11
#21
Hi all. Starting over this week after what seems like days and days of random eating and total lack of control.
Firstly thanks to everyone for their congratulations. It will probably be 2013 before we we'd as BF is involved with the Olympics next year until Nov ( not a competitor I hasten to say) and then he may be deploying to Afghanistan from Dec until the following April.
As an aside.....he is the patient one, I have been dragging my feet on this issue and he finally asked me to stop stalling and take the leap of faith. I'm glad I did.
Now I need a swift kick up the behind to bring me back into line. Today has been fairly good but last week was so bad and there are still remains of bad food in the fridge. I need to clear out the junk, and fill up the shelves with "good and healthy" choices.
Goals. 1. Regain my focus and keep under 1200 per day
2. Exercise, exercise .....anything for at least 30 mins daily.
I'll stick to these two simple goals this week to get a grip on my healthy life plan again.
Catch you all later.

2013 will be here before you know it and anyway, long engagements can be very romantic.

I hope all our Candadian Pals had a Happy Thanksgiving.
April, great job at lunch! Kudos on passing up the breadsticks!
Rose, I don't know what's happening when you can't post, but sometimes when I'm having that problem I highlight my post with my mouse and copy it, then I hit either the refresh icon on my web browser or hit F5 and when the page refreshes I paste my post back into the reply text box and it almost always goes through then. Sometimes I just get timed out, I guess.
Lizzie, best wishes to you and BF on the Olympics, his possible deployment to Afghanistan and your eventual wedding.
USE all 25 lbs. of tomatoes? Let us know next week how you did that. I THINK all the "bad for me" food is out of our fridge now, except for some bacon that DH can eat tomorrow. Congrats on those great simple goals.

Just skimmed through; have to go help the boy proof a monster paper (this boggles my mind that there are provisions to autocheck the whole internet for plagiarism); will check in with you all later

I did not get back to post goals this morning after my first bunch were wiped out, I've been on the run the whole day. Tomorrow morning I should be back on track here, life should be a touch quieter on my end. Anyway it's time to go read to the kids, and I have a splitting headache, so I think after I'm done with Harry Potter chapter 13 or 14, it's lights out for me. 'Night ladies and Mike the poorer by $25 man.
