Joanna, I think for honest mistakes like that, calories should be automatically negated!
Checking in, and adding a goal, because there's something else I've let slide and shouldn't.
1. Balance calories and activity level. Fair
2. Make good choices for the calories. Fair
3. Sleep 7 hours a night. 6.5
4. Drink 2-3 big blue bottles of water daily. Yes
5. Take vitamins, fish oil, and calcium daily. Yes
6. Plan relaxation for the weekend (worked the past three). Pending
7. Check in here daily! Yes
8. Shoulder exercises. Yes
Not sure what the weekend will bring. We had talked about a trip to the orchard and then a hike, but my son came home today all pumped up about doing another tournament next weekend. He got some good news from the tennis coach at school today and it's hard to quash that. Nothing next weekend is close by, either. Guess I'll sleep on it.

I am having a day off from goals, so I will post those tomorrow. But I will do a little catching up before this turns into 10 pages.
Happy thanksgiving to the Canadians!
Amy, sorry your post got lost, hope you have a calmer day.
Joanna, sounds like you had fun at the karaoke, nevermind the soup calories!
Cassie, welcome back! Its good to hear that your practices have kept you busy and you have managed to stay in track with everything. Hope you plan something nice for the weekend.
Nailkita, great going on the weekend! Hope your cat doesn't bite you again and gets along with the dog.
Mern, I would have done the same as your granddaughter! I dont like BK at all
Quinn, you did great on your goals today!
Hope, nice to read you! Feel better soon.
Mike, I tried the calf raises today :S It was painful to do them so I will see how bad it is tomorrow.
April, congrats on being strong over the weekend, with all those goodies! And at the restaurant!
Terri, how exciting the wedding is coming up! Hope you have a great time! Did you get your hair done?
Rose, nice jon on your goals! You are rocking it on the other side of the world.
Darlene, hope you had a nice dinner and you get back on track tomorrow.
Lizzie, you can get back on the wagon, hope you cleared out the fridge.
Catch you all tomorrow.

Mern, thanks so much for the tip! You are so smart!
Cassie, thanks for the encouragement! I'm so glad you had a day at home to catch your breath. Wow! Happy to hear that your work is booming but wow, you are super busy, Girl!
Oh no Quinn! Damn. 3K in unexpected bills certainly does bite the big one. But I hear ya, the same happened to me last Spring. I ended you having $4000 is unexpected vet bills and car repairs. But my bad luck streak did end. Yours will too! And you definitely have the right attitude.
Joanna, been there done that on the miscalculation! Don't you hate when you read the fine print and discover what you thought was one portion was actually half a portion? I hate that! But 100 calories over budget is really not so bad. You're doing great!
Main80, thanks!! Hope you enjoyed your day off from goals. See you back here today! I'm sure I'm the only one up now since it's 6:30am in the UK and I am going to an early morning spin class.

Cassie My family tries to be supportive but my daughter is on meds that have made her gain allot of weight that she is trying to lose but her health makes exercise a challenge. My hubby needs to lose about 30lbs and he’s ultra-sensitive about it right now. My son is an elite athlete and coach so he’s a hard ass about health and I am obsessive about getting back to where I was two years ago so my son and I have decided it’s better to keep our thoughts to ourselves. Someone on the forum (sorry I can’t remember who) mentioned that it’s hard to have people throwing advice at you that you are not ready or don’t want to hear and that’s really sound advice I don’t want to discourage them by being so black and white in my opinions. So yes they are supportive of me they just don’t want to hear about it but that’s ok I have you guys.
Wow I have eaten and eaten now I feel bloated and lazy.
I am so glad I got to the gym this morning or I would have + calorie instead of a deficit today. I am going to sleep it off hopefully I won’t regret it tomorrow. Have a good night.
Goals
Do not talk diet with family: M=N
Exercise daily: M=circuit training
Squats daily: M=Y
Calories less than 1400 Tues thru Sun:
Calorie deficit of 5000 for week: M= -308
Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner: 1843 I was doing ok until the ice cream cake and the glass of wine.
Use all 25lbs of tomato’s: M=N
Finish Drying Herbs: M=N

Health/Fitness Goals
1. 80oz water daily M: Yes,
2. No stuffing junk in my mouth M: Yes,
3. Exercise when hubby leaves for work Weds-Fri M/T: N/A,
4. Limit to one diet soda daily M: Yes,
5. No added salt on my plate except specific foods M: Yes,
Life Goals
1. Do something outside 3 times this week M: No,
2. Cross-stitch project 3 times this week M: No,
3. Put lotion on feet nightly M: Yes,
Didn't get outside last night because after dinner hubby & I had to go out to a friend's and pickup a blazer that he bought for parts for his S10 project. It had a broken brake line and a hole in the gas tank so he rigged those up earlier in the day and we took out some gas and he drove it home. Thank goodness it was only about 5 miles to the house. He's a bit of an outlaw!
Nailkita ... Glad that the taking notes works for you. I read & post at work so I end up starting and stopping a lot and would never keep up otherwise. What kind of freelancing do you do? Graphics? On the cat vs. dog issue...make sure to give your cat somewhere that it can escape to that the dog can't. If that means gating off a room temporarily it will help. The cat will come around on it's own terms. And the dog will get to see the cat walking around and become more used to it in it's area.
Cassie ... Those calf raises are ones that still hurt on Tuesday after doing them on Saturday!
Sorry to hear that you may not get your weekend plans in but your son's tennis tourney sounds very exciting for him. Maybe you can still get in a small hike on Sunday.
Quinn ... Wow, $3000 in expenses would kill us. I hope for your sake that your streak is over. On another note, you are doing awesome on all of your goals this week!
Mike ... Good on your goals! But really? No activity at all? Can't even put in there 'sitting on toilet'? LOL
Joanna ... Karaoke sounds fun! I wouldn't fret much over an extra 100 calories due to misreading a label.
Main80 ... If you did those calf raises yesterday you will definitely feel them today. Mine didn't even hurt while I was doing them. And I did two sets. The next day (and three days later) though ... Oh my!
Lizzie ... Hope you get that fridge cleared out! Nothing harder than eating around the junk.
Darlene ... You still got a deficit with a holiday meal and cake! That is awesome!
Amy ... Love that you read to your girls. I wish I would have stuck with that tradition longer with my boys.

Mern,
I had to laugh at your post about your granddaughter. Mine does the same... works at a restaurant all night and then swings through McDonald's on the way home. I don't get it either.
It's a perfect time of year to switch up your food choices with the abundance of inexpensive fruits and veggies this time of year.
Last year, I had a goal to try one new food per week that I had never tried before. It was fun... might add that to next weeks goals.
Well, thanks for all of the encouragement everyone for my expensive month. It just seems like lately every time I think nothing else can break down, something does. Water heater, four new tires on one vehicle, new brakes and rotors on a second, daughter backed her car into my Nitro Saturday (husband's birthday) and a $700 repair and towing on a third vehicle yesterday. (Not to mention a $400 cost overrun on my husband's garage project and a $300 medical bill that I thought was covered by my insurance that, after a long fight with my insurance company, wasn't.) All in three weeks.
I'm starting today with a positive attitude. After all, what could possible go wrong, right?? (Personally, I'm thinking fridge or furnace...
)
Here's hoping that we all have a stress-free, productive, enjoyable day!

Whew, this thread is active again this week! Doing my best to catch up...
Mern: Oh I KNOW I made some bad choices - I had more alcohol than I was planning on (I think 7 or 8 glasses total of red wine over the weekend...) and there was definitely some pizza and honey-barbecue wings in there, too! Funny enough, even though the scale was 162.8 on Monday, I "peeked" this morning (totally becoming a scale slave again!) and it said 164.1. Eesh! I ate fairly well yesterday too - granted I had tacos, but they were turkey-tacos, and I had whole-wheat shells with no cheese on them. I'm chalking that up to retaining some water from my workout and perhaps water-retention from allergy meds and just waiting until Thursday.
April: Look at you go! Doesn't it feel unexpectedly great when we face up to a situation that makes us nervous -- like sitting next to a fitness-furu-type -- and feel GOOD after? You made some great choices, way to be proud of yourself! You've done so well, and even if others might not notice yet, YOU should be high-fiving yourself every day.
Rose: Sounds like you enjoyed your vacation!!! So when do we get pics?
I am very excited for the wedding and I will be sure to post pictures for sure! Of course I'm wearing one of two knee-length dresses and have gone and gotten bruises on both of my shins this week. Way to go klutz.
Darlene: You HAVE to let us know how you plan to use 25 lbs. of tomatoes
Cassie: Auto-checking the internet is a little depressing... I've had to do it before (plagarism is completely rampant in college) and it's sad when the program comes up with 50% or 60% copied --- usually from wikipedia, of all places! My outfit for the wedding is either going to be the purple/grey dress that I've posted pictures of here before, or the LBD that I bought and haven't had a chance to wear yet. If I DO wear the LBD, I'll be sure to jazz it up with colorful accessories so it's wedding-appropriate! Thanks for the positive encouragement on my weight!
quinn: Oh no, 3k in unexpected expenses?! Yikes!!!! I might have eaten a TON of bread if I were you, way to stay on-goals! Hugs for you.
Joanna: Whoops! I have totally misread labels before too. It's not fair. Sometimes I think our brain plays tricks on us!
Main80: I did get my hair done! I got a full foil and a partial foil in two different shades of blonde, and I chopped off about 1.5 inches of dead/split ends on the bottom. It looks great - I missed being a blonde, haha! I will post pics from the wedding for sure so you can all see!
Food, Exercise, Lifestyle Goals (Monday thru Thursday)
1) Calories averaging between 1,200 and 1,400 - no day over 1,500 M: 1,332 (Week Average: 1,332)
2) Exercise 2-3 times M: Zumba Sculpt and Tone
3) 80 oz. of water daily M: yes
4) Multivitamin daily M: forgot
5) Achieve a deficit of 2,000-3,000 calories M: -997 (Week Total: -997)
6) Weigh on Thursday morning M: N/A
Other Goals
1) Make an effort on my appearance daily M: yes
2) Clean one room a day M: Did a lot of laundry - half-counts?
3) Take some "time out" for myself daily M: sorta
4) Call my grandmother M: No
I am feeling bright and perky this morning after being SUPER TIRED yesterday. I hereby nominate myself for a BIDIA award for the following reasons!
My allergies were acting up like crazy, and I forgot to take my prescription (allegra) and left the bottle at home, so I was forced to take some Benadryl. That stuff knocks me right the heck out, so I was living with Benadryl-haze all afternoon. However, I still managed to:
-- Stay at work an extra hour making small parts with a dremmel (and managing NOT to cut or burn myself, considering I couldn't feel my fingers. Thanks, Benadryl!)
-- Go to Michael's in a rainstorm to pick up some promised decorations for the lab
-- Do my 45 minutes of Zumba with small weights (To be honest, I did it at probably 80% effort - I was having trouble breathing with a stuffed-up nose so I toned it down a tad. Still got a good burn)
-- Get through 3 piles of laundry
-- Make dinner as BF was "feeling lazy"
I was SO TIRED that I was cross-eyed, and the meds didn't help, BUT I DID IT ANYWAY. My calories for Monday are a guesstimate as I completely forgot to weigh my meat portion out for the tacos (I eyeballed it) but I still think I'm within my calorie budget, even if I eyeballed low. I didn't clean a room yesterday, but I think the laundry at least half-counts!
I'm still feeling allergy-tastic today, but I remembered to take my allegra, so hopefully I don't have to rely on Benadryl again.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
~Terri

I couldn't figure out why my match for Amy didn't show up so I called this morning. It appears that I clicked the donate button up top, which is what my page originally said. Well what money doesn't get credited to me, so I had to have them go in from the back end and show it on my end. I told them it was to read almeeker's match, but it says my name.
If anyone made a donation and I didn't personally thank them or you don't see it on my page, please PM me and let me know so I can get it corrected. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
