The Fast 5 Is an Effective Weight Loss Diet — but Is It Right for You?

It has often been said that eating six small meals per day is healthier than breakfast, lunch, and dinner but the constant flux of conventional thinking regarding healthy eating habits seems to change faster than most can keep up with. Our bodies do not work in synchronous unison, which is why some diet fads and workout routines work for some, but not for others.

If you feel bogged down by the daily strife of work without gain, it might be time to fine-tune your primitive nature and try the Fast 5 Diet.

What is Fast 5?

The Fast 5 Diet is a principle that strictly limits your intake of high-calorie foods between the hours of 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm. It does not call for any type of constraint in terms of what you eat, or how much you eat. Seems a bit extreme, though, right? The Fast 5 Diet works because it essentially forces the body to endure evolutionary starvation, which is theoretically how the human body was designed to consume food.

Those who roamed the Earth during the age of hunters and gatherers did not have the contemporary luxury of eating six small meals throughout their waking hours. Each day was a means of survival, and most weren’t conceivably able to eat until the day’s work had been hunted and gathered. Human beings were hypothetically designed to eat most of their calories in a relatively short period of time, which is exactly what the Fast 5 Diet seeks to accomplish.

How Fast 5 Works

The Fast 5 Diet emphasizes intermittent fasting for the purpose of burning fat cells stored throughout the body. It does not require fasting to take place throughout the entire week; rather, it is recommended that you partake in Fast 5 no more than three days per week. Long-term intermittent fasting can cause serious health defects.

The Fast 5 Diet works because it essentially trains the body to burn fat as if it is enduring a primal state of being. Our bodies naturally store fat as fuel in times of famine, which is exactly what the Fast 5 Diet utilizes for energy. The diet’s intermittent method of fasting causes the body to burn excess fat, which decreases overall fat composition in the body.

Is Fast 5 Safe?

The concept of deliberately starving oneself for the purpose of achieving weight loss is often considered unsafe, but Fast 5 does not strictly enforce starvation methods, nor does it disallow the consumption of food. It should be approached with extreme caution, though. Consult your physician before commencing any extreme lifestyle changes pertaining to your diet. Even though Fast 5 encourages immediate weight loss, it may be unsafe for some people, especially diabetics. It should be noted that the content of this article does not promote the Fast 5 Diet, although it has been scientifically tested to enhance the body’s fat-burning capacity.
