Try eating "clean" for just a week. You will easily bust past your current weight. There are many websites about eating clean. Just type it in google. Basic gist is to eat 40% carbs 40% protein 20% fat. Focus on making your meals from shopping the outside of the grocery (produce, lean meats, low fat dairy). Hope this helps!
. My biggest prob is that the diet gets suspended on weekends, and we have had about 3' of snow in the last few weeks, so no road time (walking, jiggling, or wiggling), and the gym is 15 min away by car, on good roads. Most snow is gone now, so have been able to walk/run this week. I should be able to get going again.

I weigh 182 now, goal is 132 by 9/21 which is the 7th year anniversary of when I quit smoking (which is the reason I gained the 50 pounds!). But in the short term I would be thrilled (and am striving for) 152 by mid-June. That way I could fit in at least half of my clothes again!
My goal is not just to lose the weight but to adopt a healthy lifestyle because even when I was thin before (while I was a smoker), aside from the smoking my diet/exercise, etc was pathetic!! So yeah, thin didn't mean healthy...but this time it WILL!!

I currently weigh 276 lbs - I've lost 6 so far since joining FitDay. My goal is to be down to 200 lbs by the end of the year. I am a fortysomething male employed at a military installation where everyone seems to be in shape but me LOL.

Hi, I joined fitday years ago and was on and off... I quit smoking in March of last year and have gained 35 lbs since. I was up to 209 last month, I have been exercising and watching what I eat and am now down to 203. I am making several small goals as to not get discouraged. My first goal is to be down to 195 by April 1. I am 5'7" and would ultimately like to get down to 140 lbs.

I started dieting last fall when I hit my heaviest all time "not pregnant" weight of 244 lbs. This morning I weighed 200 and I plan to be around 120-130 by next Christmas, so around 2 lbs/week. I'm 41 year old female with a small skeletal frame.
I just wanted to thank all of you for being so honest.

Last summer I weighed in at my highest weight ever, 150 lbs. I lost down to 124 lbs very quickly in a very unhealthy way, needless I say, I gained all but 10 lbs of it back.
Now, I'm determined to make a healthy lifestyle change and not just "diet".
I started out at 140 lbs, now I'm down to 133 lbs with a goal weight of 120 lbs.
7 lbs down 13 lbs to go!
