Before I found out I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my left wrist, the only symptom I had was that same buzzing feeling. I still have no pain from my carpal tunnel--just that buzzing sensation when I have my arms in a certain position.
Hey I'm back! kinda fell off the wagon myself, but not too badly. Actually had ice cream in my hand at the grocery store on Sunday, and then PUT IT BACK! Just catching up on all the reading - this thread has been very busy, and it's only tuesday! Will catch up with everyone in more detail and post goals tomorrow while y'all are having a big 4th July party! (main goal starting tomorrow: limit 1 coffee/day!)

Re above, Mike, I have sciatica in my leg from a 'slip and fall' accident in 1999. When it happened I had numbness in my foot and 3 middle toes for about 6 months. Now it only comes back when I overdo it. It's hard to explain to someone how something can be numb and painful at the same time if they have never experienced anything like that. If what you have is anything like mine it is probably neuropathy. I take a slow release morphine compound for the other, chronic pain I have, but it does nothing for the pain in my leg. For that I take 75mg/day Amitriptylene (aka Elavil) it's a pretty innocuous drug altho some people have adverse side affects, but it works very well for nerve pain. If problem persists or interferes with life to any extent you might look into it?

More tomorrow, I'm going to try and get an early night tonight. Happy 4th to all!

We don't have central air because, up here, we'd probably only use it one week per year... and this is the week! The lowest level of my house is partially underground and it never gets much above 70, so I can always go down there. It's really unusual for us to have 7-10 days in a row in the 90's.

Ahaha...I came on the computer earlier and locked it up like Fort Knox. No games for kids over 13, no internet between the hours of 11pm and 7am, and no "adult" content. It's even been blocking some stuff that I wouldn't think it would, like an article about Roe vs Wade. Bahahaha! I wish I could see his face when he gets on here thinking he's going to look at his usual filth (not just porn but violent crap too)...and when the internet stops working at precisely his bedtime! I wish I had thought of it before they came. I feel like a lame parent version of a criminal mastermind. Have fun on my computer, kid.

I guess I should run a virus scan after the last couple of days of internet use.

I've already had an MRI and a series of epidurals. I've had/have sciatica (left side) and toes go numb. This buzzing in my leg is on my right leg and isn't painful, just annoying.

I'm pretty sure this is the link I sent you. All I really did was a google search, cause someone doesn't know how to I think the exact words I googled were "buzzing leg sensation"

10. Post something good about every day. Got the AP score back today and it was a 4! ; Son's first text to me today, after rolling his lazy teen self out of bed, was, "Hi Mom, what do you want me to do for you today?" (punctuation was mine, lol!)

Not as tight as yesterday, but not an utter fail, either. Five hours in the office, six mindless hard candies' worth of calories and sugar I did not need, but I didn't run way off the rails today, either.

Cassie, great job yesterday! All that exercise has got to be giving you a really helpful calorie deficit. Cute AND SWEET about the boy's morning greeting to you.

Mike and Tori, thanks for the link--I thought of both nerve and back associations for my "buzzing leg." I'm not very concerned about mine--just curious as it mostly happens only in the evening when I'm reclining on the sofa watching TV. I won't have it checked out unless it becomes more frequent or painful or added symptoms.

Nobe, kudos on the computer controls. Yes, a virus scan is definitely recommended as porn sites are an excellent source for viruses.

Quinn, wishing you coolness!!!! Great job both with your way of eating plus walking in your heat wave in the evening.

Cate, kudos on putting back the ice cream at the store! OMG, I am so sorry to learn of your pain.

April, nice garden! We have broccoli, onions, tomatoes, green bell peppers, pinto beans that we eat young as green beans, radishes, spinach, spearmint. Animals ate the squash blossoms and DH thinks he didn't provide the right nutrients for the melons because they didn't come in.

I made it 2 days in so I still have hairy legs. I've been super low on energy (trying to adjust to the diet I guess) so I skipped the gym yesterday.
