First off, want to say that everyone that has posted to this board is an inspiration. You guys kick some serious butt So, now instead of lurking and reading all of your post, I have decided that I would become accoutable as well. My goal is to lose 100 lbs this year by eating right, excersizing, and drinking tons of water, no magic pills or gimmicks. I started my weight loss journey at my personal highest of 257 . So far I am down -13 lbs so yay. Long way to go, but I am here for the long haul.

My goals this week:
1. drink 64 oz water min M,T,W
2. eat less that 1300 calories a dayM,T,W
3. excersize 4 times 2
4. be positive

April, I love your welcome sign!

Welcome, Danielle. So glad you joined us. I have a lot of weight to lose, too, but I know I can do it with the support of our wonderful group.

Wednesday weigh in: 175 (+-0)

Now I'm getting frustrated. I was good all week and didn't lose anything. I'm the same weight I was at the end of last month. I accepted it when I wasn't being that good, but come on.

Tuesday report:

1) 1,600 calories max/day (allow myself 1 guilt free day over 1,600) - 1406, 1519
2) do 2 exercises on days I don't work (walking/weights/gardening/Richard Simmons/stationary bike) - lots of walking, nothing offical, but I was cleaning the house and the yard for most of the day
3) 20% protein minimum - 25%, 19%
4) 64oz water minimum - not enough, 64oz
5) calorie deficit 700+ - 863, 1087
6) take vitamins - yes, no
7) lights out by 11 the night before - no, no
8) no food after 8pm the night before - yes, yes

NOBE - have you revisted your calorie allowance since you've lost all that weight? Maybe you are eating maintenance calories. Or...it may be the dreaded plateau lol. Good Luck!

Nobe, I understand the frustration. I have been at the same 163/164 for a couple of weeks now. I am one of those people who has to weigh in every day, but my frustration has been somewhat assuaged by taking my measurements on a weekly basis. I am down about 3 inches overall (1.5" directly off hips!) and that fact is helping to keep me motivated. Are you doing measurements too? It might help you to know if the measuring tape is moving even if the scale isn't.

Cheers and good luck this week!

Welcome, Danielle.

I have not been kicking butt; butt has been kicking me, if that makes sense even.

Here are my goals:
1) no more than 1650 calories - didn't track, gave up
2) 8 glasses of water - didn't track, gave up
3) stretch daily - ditto
4) walk or gym 2 days this week -ditto
5) try to remember you're the adult- yes this was all I could do but it might have been the most important at the time.

Haven't read posts; things have been beyond intense here.

BIG WELCOME DANIELLE- You are definately in the right place!

CANARY- dont give up, you can do this!

Hiya everyone- hope youve all had a good Wednesday?
Its been another warm day here again today and ive been good just to have a small weightwatchers ice cream tub at 77cals and less than 5% fat. Really nice and chocolately and sure did the job!
This evening as i watch my tv im practising my first night without snacks- so far im doing good- had a bath to relax and im sitting with my bottles of water to help keep my stomach full.
I know its 10.15pm and i shouldnt eat at this time- even though its just healthy things like fruit or a yoghurt its calories i can save. Did eat a good tea of chicken breast and pasta so i know im not hungry. Just a habit that i need to break!
