So that's what y'all call it these days?

BTW we all know you're not going to go out, then job 3 miles when you get back in. I see a bridge in your future. I'll take Steg if you need him to go to a good home.

yes, I was just messing with you. I know you don't even drink, right? I'd assume you go out and leave sober.

Thanks for all the kind comments about yesterday--based on what a few of you said (plus the Wisdom of Google, of course), I'm pretty likely to agree that it was just low blood sugar. Thanks for helping me put a name to it!

I ended up eating some more last night without logging it. Whoops. =/ I'd estimate that I about broke even, though.
Today was a LOT better. The summary:

1. 72 oz of water:>100 oz!, 90 oz, 80-ish oz (hmmmm, I sense a pattern.)
2. Gym and/or run 6 days: Gym, Run, Gym
3. BOTH gym and run at least two days: N, N, Not today
4. Daily calories under 1200: 1199!, ?, 1197
5. Total calorie deficit of 7000: -1086, 0, -1387 today/-2473 total
6. Weigh in daily, but don't get discouraged!: Eh. Tomorrow will be better.

Darlene--Did they get your heat fixed? I can't imagine not having heat this time of year.....hope you're surviving alright

Mary--How did the pot luck go? I hope you came out alright calorie wise. What all do you put in your spinach salad? I've recently become a fan of spinach and am always looking for new ways to use it.

Pam--OMG, if I had a problem with rats I'd have to sell my home. I pride myself on not freaking out or having phobias over bugs and such, but rats and mice are my downfall. We had a problem with them a few years ago at work, and it was all I could do to stay at my workstation for a full 8 hour shift.

almeeker--Lord, it sounds like you've been enduring Cookiepalooza 2011 too! I may have to get some of your recipes. In fact, I think I want all of them I'm really interested in the 7th Heaven's and Poor Man's Turtles. They sound divine!!! As sweet and cuddly as the cat was last night, tonight she's being a rascal! She got her second wind about an hour ago and hasn't stopped yet. And I'm glad I didn't wind up killing anyone either, I seriously would NOT make a good prisoner. I don't take orders very well. Besides, just envisioning the different techniques I could have used made me feel a little better.

Time to read but not to respond...hoping (again) for tomorrow. Y'all are so funny! But checking in 'cause it's one of my goals and I need all the green I can get.

1. Keep calories reasonable (maintenance ~1500-1600) M-F. 1436, burned 1641; 1301, burned 1676, 1634, burned 1739
2. Keep a water bottle going throughout the day. Yes, Meh-halfway, Halfway again
3. Run a mile daily (doing this with son who will have to do it next semester in PE). Yes, Yes, Yes
4. Weights twice this week. One down
5. Tennis at least once this week.
6. Log everything and post every day. Yes, Yes, Yes
7. 7 hours of sleep. Yes, Fat chance of that this week, This goal has become absurd
8. Get on the scale everyday...not so much for the number, but for the reminder to be mindful. Yes, Yes, Yes
9. Don't totally lose control on Christmas Eve or Christmas!
10. Do shoulder exercises every day. Yes, Yes, Yes

Ahem, the calorie overage...dunno why I thought is was a great idea to make biscotti with white chocolate, dried cranberries, and pistachio...only my three favorite baking ingredients . By the time all was said and done, I'd had four, mostly broken parts and ends and one that wouldn't fit in the tin.

Live and learn.
