Low Sugar and Low Fat foods/meal ideas
Hi everyone!
Because of my risk for both being pre-diabetic and having fatty liver disease, my docs want me to reduce my sugar intake as well as eat low fat. This includes things like avocados, olive oil and nuts. I can have these things, just in super small servings and only once a week.
Does anyone have any ideas for foods, or even meals that would fit this description? The foods I have been eating or my "safe foods" are oatmeal, sushi, bananas, low fat yogurt, beans and apples. I'm starting to get bored and need some suggestions.

Poach some skinless chicken breasts in simmering chicken broth. Slice and serve with steamed vegetables and maybe a garlicky mayonnaise (canola oil based if possible for lower saturated fat). If you want a starch with that, boil some potatoes.
