Just got back from the Dr. with wonderful news! YAY!!! I do NOT have to see the specialist at all ( = don't have to go on insulin) and he said as long as I follow this diet I don't even need to test more than 3x/week! It's gonna be hard to wrap my head around that one.

More later ... have a great day everyone!

ps. Mike I am overdue for mammogram so will dig out my paper and call tomorrow!

Congrats, Cate!!! GREAT NEWS!!!

Congrats, Nobe on the pund lost!! I hope you feel better and you get someone to watch kiddo!

Quinn, what do you mean you play one (gardener) on tv?

Mern, we fibro people have aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllll kinds of issues. Love how your GDs are bonding and how you are handling the nerve-wracking new driver situation.

I got another acupuncture treatment for the ol' back yesterday. Hopefully third time is a charm...

Lost some weight due to stress (3 lbs) but not counting on that as permanent tho it would be nice if it would stay off... Usually I gain from stress...

So, well all know I've been in the dumps lately cause of all the mess with The DB that was formerly known as CN and because Whatshisname won't be back till October (20 1/2 weeks!! I know I know, I should be counting months not weeks. But weeks go by faster than months and it makes the countdown more bareable for me). I decided to go digging through some old pictures and thought I'd share with y'all....

(click me, I'm a thumbnail)

Left to right: May 2011, just after New Year's 2012, Feb 2012, April 2012, and May 2012

The far left hand pic and the far right hand pic are taken a year apart almost to the day

So, that's been my pick me up for the day

Thanks y'all. I didn't post them for kudos, more to motivate me. I've been struggling hard lately, and I think this may be the kick in the pants I've needed. Sorry MIKE, I kicked myself in the a$$ today!

That's amazing, Tori.

Looking at before and during pictures always motivates me, too. That and putting on my old fat pants

Good b/c my leg was getting tired. I swear kicking you in the ass is harder on my legs than walking!

Days like today is the reason why I tell people to take before pic!

Are you sure that's not your mom in the 1st pic? You look 20 years younger in the last pic. I'm calling BS, I think it's someone else.
