Darlene, I've had a mammogram and it wasn't the least bit uncomfortable. Well, yeah, it's kind of an awkward position to have to stand in and kind of a stretch for me to hold onto the bars because I'm short, but that's all. When I expressed my surprise, my technician said if done correctly it should NOT hurt.

mhibdon, congrats on PPD graduating to the person you are dating. I'm really happy for you. I hope the patch works out well for him. Woohoo on being ahead of schedule on your weightloss! Well done!

sksan, hello. Sometimes we get kind of yacky on this thread, but at the beginning of the week we all post what our goals for the week are regarding food, exercise, any other goals we have. We don't compete against each other.
We follow whatever diet plan works best for us.

Each day we log on and give a progress report of how we are doing.

Tomorrow starts our new thread and our moderator, Mike (the only man in our group) makes the new week's thread a "sticky" so it will always be at the top of the Support Group Just for Women.

sksan, my goals involve calories, carbs, saturated fat, fiber, exercise, etc.

You don't have to follow a formal plan or do things like anyone else.

If you look at our daily reports, you will get an idea what I'm talking about. Many of us post our positive accomplishments for the day in green and our misses in red. But you can do your own thing.

Are you looking to lose weight or do maintenance? What do you do for exercise.

We'd love to have you join us.

Pam and Tori, that happened to me yesterday, too. I gotta remember to compose on WordPad and then copy and paste it to the reply box. That way if the back button or refresh don't bring back my composed post, I still have it on my computer to copy and paste again. Sure is annoying when the program eats the posts.

I've also been having trouble logging on to FitDay.

Tori: loss of typed messages drives me nuts. It's gotten to the point that if I'm typing a long post I automatically copy it just in case screen freezes, so I don't have to re-type it all.

Darlene: I am just getting over a cold that surprised me Christmas Eve. I almost never get sick and apparently it is making the rounds. I'm just grateful it stayed in my head and not my lungs.

Good weekend foodwise. For now, logging works. Night all!

Well, we post our goals, try to stick with them, and post progress reports. We also get a bit chatty. It's hard to keep up sometimes, but we do our best.
