Rose, I think I slept plenty over the past couple of days. Today I felt like crap but had enough energy to knock out the workout. If Chico is like Mytsie, he'll snuggle with you and will keep you in bed all day.

Mern, yeah the cookies have been calling me, I've been ignoring them do far. Yeah, where is Cassie?

I just wanted to take a minute and introduce everybody to the rabbit. Her name is Oreo, and as you can see she's the sweetest bunny EVER! I somehow lost the mini pic I made of the family with Tigger and I just don't have a close up of me. Millions of pics of the kids, hundreds of the hubs, but none of me.

He's not the sweetest bunny ever. That title goes to the milk chocolate bunny that I always rip the ears off of and stuff with peanut butter.

Yes, you can make a purse out of a sow's ear, I've seen it done. Not an especially attractive handbag, but certainly a great gag gift. Sounds like your hubby and mine have the same purse, or should I say "man bag"?

Yes, roughly 100 gingerbread houses, give or take. 50 for Kindergarten, they are about the size of very large muffins, and I bake them 6 at a time in a pan from Williams Sonoma. The rest will be assembled gingerbread houses made with structural gingerbread and icing. I have a small collection of special pans that I bake the dough in. The pans are a ton of fun, they have several cavities and once you've filled and baked the pan twice, you have enough pieces for a little building. The assembly doesn't take long, I can manage about 10-12 in an hour.

"She". I'll amend, she's the loveliest bunny ever. How was the soup?

So, I'm convinced that Tuesdays just aren't the best day of the week for me. It all started out so well, and then a really annoying truck driver came in. He yammered on and on about how great "his" Clemson Tigers did this past weekend. And how if "his" Tigers had shown up against the Gamecocks then it would have been no contest the, "Chickens" would have been through. I'm a Gamecock fan, and I hold no ill will toward Clemson and can take good hearted trash talk with the best of them, but he was one of those really obnoxious people who can't see how anyone else can have an opinion of their own. He had nothing to say about the actual game itself, just on and on repeating what reporters and Clemson coaches have said in the media. So, I had to politely tell him to shove it. And that if he didn't have anything original and intelligent to say then he just needed to shut up. I'm not usually so cranky, but he's just one of those guys who isn't wrong, ever. And when I could actually hold my own in a conversation about football, well it intimidated him just a tad. Imagine! AN INTELLIGENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ARTICULATE WOMAN SPORTS FAN!?!?!? Who knew those existed?

After that, it only continued to get worse....my momma called (in the south we don't have moms, we have mommas or mamas, just depends on how you want to spell it) and had to make an emergency visit to her her cardiologist, so I had to leave work 5 hours early, drive 40 minutes to pick her up, and then take her to the doctor. Four hours later, we leave the dr's office. I did manage to go by PetSmart and pick up cat litter and food, so at least that's crossed off the To Do List. And tomorrow I plan on starting the foot high stack of paperwork that I brought home with me. Needless to say, my whole day was thrown out of whack. I managed to stay under my calorie goal, but my carb goal was just missed.....oh well, I can always try again tomorrow. AND I didn't get my workout in today. UGH

To recap my day....crap, followed by more crap, followed by even more crap.

Will post my numbers tomorrow, right now, I'm headed to bed

Food Porn

Similar but the texture is different, it's light, moist and dense all at the same time. It's best nearly "burn your tongue" hot out of the oven, so as you break the piece apart to cool it ever so slightly the steam carries the spectacular aroma of spice coupled perfectly with vanilla and butter. And you just know as you hold the first bite to your lips it's going to hurt so good as it melts away on your tongue. Dude, I gotta quit this food porn or I'm gonna ruin the keyboard with drool.

Geez, can't you tell she's a girl just looking at her? She's got such a girly dewlap it's not even funny. No wonder you have trouble in the sauna.
