I think that's pretty damn good considering that I workout often, am outside running and walking, etc. My shoes don't even stink. Probably b/c I ALWAYS wear socks, my feet are ALWAYS clean and a pair of shoes ne'er lasts me more than a couple months. One of the girls here at the house can take off her shoes and clear out the house. It's freaking disgusting! And as for the once in 8 years, she's not saying it to spare my feelings, she tells everyone about it when they talk about there husband stinking. That and all my exes have said the same thing. One of them use to sit there and sniff my neck when we'd hug and I was about to leave. Sniff so hard as if she was trying to soak up the smell or something. One day I asked if I stunk, she said hell no. I asked what I smelled like and all she could say is "you smell like you, it's a distinct smell". BTW I don't sweat a lot but I'm told that I don't even stick when I sweat. Who knows, maybe it's luck or maybe the secret is to bathe just once a week.
I believe you, I didn't say all guys stink, but I do think the average man is capable of generating more stink than the average woman. Well at least in my family that's true, my dad generates more stink with his little toe than mom and I combined can after spending a whole day working in the garden. My DH however, isn't a stinky human either which is a good thing because he's allergic to "antiperspirant", but he bathes a lot more often than once/week. Maybe it's a love thing, but he almost always smells fantastic to me, except maybe after 18 holes of golf in 95+ degree heat with matching humidity.

3. Walk on lunch M: Yes, even though I stopped for a phone call halfway through I picked up where I left off when I got off the phone 20mins later, T: Raining, W: Raining,
4. Exercise 3 times W-F
5. Weight and post weight M: 272.8, T: 272.4, W: 273.6, Results this week: +.8lbs so far

Life Goals ...
1. Create & Order girls' Christmas cards M: DONE!!
2. Fold & putaway laundry I washed this weekend M: No, T: No,
3. Finish cleaning fam room & laundry room M: No, T: No,

Mike ... I don't think many guys like to be all soft & squishy. ... Have you thought about going to the dr to get an antibiotic? My hubby had to go get one yesterday for his strep throat.

Amy ... Your gingerbreading (is that a word) sounds like just the perfect thing to do to make merry memories! Your food porn is perfect! I could see me face first in a batch of that real quick. ... I have never looked into primal screaming and honestly I am not that easily stressed of a person. It is a very different situation that has me so beside myself. But I am handling it like a true mom. Smile when you want to cry and all that. Thank you for your concern and hugs.

Rose ... Yay for 3.8lbs gone! I knew you would do it in no time. Sorry that you had to call off work today. My hubby did too.

Darlene ... I really don't know how you held it to that little bit of calories eating hot chocolate chip cookies! I didn't have extra cals that day I baked because I didn't start.

Meen ... I just love all of your positive comments to everyone. I love when you have free time and post a lot!

Tori ... Sounds like you work around some of the same men I do. Truckers, warehousemen, inventory clerks, shippers, receivers, etc etc. They all know everything about anything. And nothing about it mostly. Luckily I just ignore them or tell them that I am not interested in the sports they are discussing. ... Are you going to get paid to do that paperwork at home? If not, I'd leave it at the office. No sense dragging stress home too.

Joanna ... Great avatar pic!!

Quinn ... I'm sorry but your faucet story made me LOL. Your poor hubby being sick and under the sink. I can only imagine how he whined and made noise. I know how mine gets. ... Congrats on the scholarships though! That had to brighten your day!

All of you that are on the sick bus....get better soon! It's no fun being sick on holidays!!!

Amy, you know what kills me? When I go to bring the chirrens somewhere and they pile up in the car and it smells like they bathed in nasty perfume or body spray. I try to tell them that one squirt is plenty. It reminds me of when I'd work in the grocery store and you could smell these little old ladies coming from an isle away. I tell the chirrens that having that much crap on smells as if they are trying to cover up their true funk. They may be clean but it doesn't smell like it. The only way you'd smell cologne on me would be if you were very close, like giving me a hug.

But yeah, I agree, in general a guy is more likely to stink more than a woman. Probably b/c guys are usually more physical and more likely to sweat. But everyone is different. My GF works with 2 girls that are total opposites, one will go home on break to shower if she's working a double (very clean) and another that may bathe once or twice a week, she always has on dirty clothes and her breathe smells like she's been eating dog turds all day. Then I have a friend that always looks clean and never really stinks but when I see him at the gym it's like OMG you want to spray him with Lysol or something.

April, If I thought it wouldn't be gone in the next day or two, I'd go in a heartbeat.

Quinn, quite understandable the you need to drop out of your goals for this week. Golly, I sure hope your husband gets well quick, that your plumbing gets fixed ASAP, and that your new floors wind up OK. Congrats to you and DD on the scholarships! That's great! You must be very proud and happy!

Amy, yeah, it does sound like whatever CAN go wrong at Quinn's WILL! Sorry you have to walk to the gas station. Count that as exercise! LOL

Tori, the kitty in the T-shirt is so cute! LOL Give yourself lots of credit for all goals you did well on yesterday. Tomorrow is a fresh start on the ones you didn't.

Aw, Mike, don't get discouraged. Sick days weight gain isn't real and it won't stick. I say go for the PB&J sammich. You deserve the comfort food. You're welcome for the card.

That dog turd breath is likely a combination of coffee & cigarettes. Speaking from experience. Not me...but a family member.

Default Avatars

I have an idea. I'm liking the face shot avatars but even if we don't have or want to put up one as an avatar I think we should all do an avatar of something that represents us. Then I can make us a "cyber" Christmas tree and our avatars can be the ornaments. Who's in?

LOL over Mike's comments to Quinn about staying afloat. I understand, Mike, sometimes people just leave themselves wide open for it.

I love the idea about our group having avatars to represent themselves if they don't have or like a photo. And I really love the idea of a cyber Christmas tree of our group avatars.

Live-in GD's official ceremony is tonight at the high school for induction into the National Honor Society. I can't wait to hear her take the pledge. Taking along some Kleenex because I know I'll be crying tears of pride and joy.

Thumbs down All of these years of training just went down the drain!

I can not freaking believe this. I decided to make a cup of hot tea and put some honey in it b/c it should make me feel better, right? Well it didn't. As soon as I put the cup to my lips to sip it (b/c it's hot as hell) my freaking pinky decides to poke itself out. I have worked hard, doing the proper training, tirelessly for years to get my pinky to do this! I based my entire life around it, even shaved my head b/c of it. I finally get it to happen and its all ruined now, b/c of tea!!! TEA of all things!!! I could scream right now but my damn throat hurts too damn much!!!!!
