Great job Mike!!!
I'm still on track with my goals and riding this "Gluten-free all my cravings are gone wave" as long as possible.
I am truly amazed that by eliminating wheat from my diet how much my cravings have diminished. That CONSTANT thinking about food conversation that has been going on in my brain for, oh, 43 years!! . . .? Poof!, Gone!
Of course, another benefit is that, by default, I have to make better choices. So my tendency, when tired, to just go "screw it" and hit the drive through is curtailed simply because there are SO FEW bread-free choices at a drive through. And if I do choose the quick food solutions, it has to be a salad or something I can skip the bun on and wrap in lettuce. I can't IMAGINE eating a greasy hamburger using lettuce as my "sandwich" material -- too slimy -- so grilled chicken is pretty much the only choice.
And I am down to my first goal of 219! I dropped 4 pounds this week.
Woo hoo!
Hope all are well -- I'm beginning to think September is going to completely derail my posting intentions, I am so busy. But I'm still being accountable to myself, and that's most important!

Terri, I listened to your whole interview. You are awesome! The radio host was a little annoying but you handled him expertly. I am so impressed with you!!! Way to go!
Brandismom, WOW 4 pounds in one week?!!! That's amazing! I think I might give the gluten-free plan a whirl! Amazing results and so great that your cravings have all but disappeared.
Here are a few snapshots from my weekend.
