DIDEROCH,
I'm glad your here today and you sound like a strong woman. I would love to hear your progress as you get your body stronger and healthy again. Keep us posted.
The stepper that you use, is it a regular stepper for excersizing? My son has a pretty good size step stool and I'm so tempted to use it on the rainy days when I can't get out and walk.

Milestone moment...today I dropped from an "overweight" BMI to a "healthy weight" BMI! Wooohooooo! (Okay, my BMI is 24.98 but I'm definitely not rounding up!) Total weight loss since March 13: 25.5 lbs!!!! YAY!
On another note, I haven't really decided on a final goal weight. Picking a final number seems kind of arbitrary to me...I feel like once I get to the weight I'm supposed to be at, I'll know. What do you think? Am I setting myself up for failure by not having a goal in mind?
Have a great day, ladies!!!!

great job, fletch!! what an awesome feeling! in terms of a goal - rather than setting a weight goal (and risk becoming a slave to the scale) - why don't you choose a pants size goal? i've noticed that even when my weight plateued (and it plateued for 3 months) - that my pants were feeling looser and my shirts hung better on me.
on another subject - today's weigh in day for me and i'm down 2 lbs from last week! woo-hoo! slow and steady wins the race.

Hey everyone i weigh the same this week as i did last week but im happy not to have put on!! The weekend was tough so i managed to not gain and im back on track. Going to plan this weekend though so i dont make the same mistakes. Im much more in control through the week so im gonna keep up the motivation to get me through saturday and sunday. I really want to see the scales say 11stone something on weigh in on wednesday- they 12st 2lb at moment so im sure i can do it if i stick with it.
Im really pleased with myself today as i went shopping and brought back really delicious looking cakes and pastries for partner(he wants to gain weight) and i kept the willpower and i had some fresh strawberries and 0% fat greek yoghurt instead!!!!! It wasnt that hard as long as i was eating something at same time. Hes really great though and says i dont have to get that sort of thing while im dieting but i want to prove to myself i can resist the temptation and i did!!
Im feeling better in myself and noticing that my body is getting a much nicer shape than it was which is helping with my confidece issues. Im happy again to undress infront of fella so thats some improvement. I figured ive got to start loving myself now not only when i get to goal!!
Nothing planned for weekend but im determined not to exceed my allowance and stick to my plan. Heres to a good weekend everybody

Thanks, farah and kathryn!!! kathryn - I like the pant size idea. I have a couple pair of jeans that haven't fit in 3 years, so I think I'll make it my goal to fit comfortably in those, then I'll work on maintaining. Great idea! Thank you!!!
farah - Don't stress!!!! The number on the scale is just a number, and we all know that there are a million reasons that number can go up or down regardless of what we do! Can you focus on some other numbers, too? Like inches lost? Or miles walked/run? Or number of workouts? Remember to celebrate those numbers no matter what the scale says tomorrow!

Hi Farah dont get stressed about weigh in i always aim for a pound loss a week but if i stay the same i know that it will catch up and i will lose it in time. Ive learnt not to rush myself. Then if i do lose more than a pound then its a bonus. I cant expect alot as i dont exercise apart from walking everywhere so i depend more on what i eat. If i indulge it goes straight on the scales. The strawberries and yoghurt was a good enough treat for me yesterday though. I really want to start swimming and bike riding now the summer is starting. Dont worry about weigh in-dont put pressure on yourself. Good luck!!

I weigh the same this week as I did last week. No loss, no gain. I know the reasons why-one: overate on the weekend. Two: I have my period and I've been known to gain slightly at this time. Oh well, the overall trend is down so we'll see what the scale tells me next week.

ok ok, i know, today's not my real weigh in day, but check my signature out! i checked my weight this morning, after i totally misbehaved food wise the day before, and guess what? l have lost some weigh since yesterday! i'll record it for sure, even though it feels like cheating!!!
