Quinn...I'm soooo sorry. Catch a plane; I'm "single" this week anyway and looking for things to keep busy! |
Rose I hope all goes well for your dog. That sounds like a terrible exeperience for both of you. Mary

I just got off the phone with the vet and Chico is sleeping. The painkillers really make him drowsy. I am happy to hear that he's sleeping through his hospital stay.
Mike, thank you. I guess you know how I feel. Chico is my best friend and it is really horrible to see him so hurt. Oh Quinn, I do remember when you lost your fur baby. It's so hard... we get so attached. Hugs to you! Behaze thank you so much for the support! Cassie, I will be sure to keep you posted. I'm going to see him during visiting hours tonight. Thanks for the words of wisdom. I appreciate it! Mary, thank you. You're very sweet. |
Rose I'm so sorry to hear about your baby, that is absolutely horrible.

Rose, yes, I can relate. My 2 are my babies, best friends, you name it. |

another one of those 'WTF was I thinking?' moments. 166 down and I'm dead, can barely move.

Aw, Rose! So sorry to hear of Chico's injury. Glad to read that he is sleeping. My heart goes out to you. Wishing your pooch a speedy recovery! Thanks for your kind words, too.
Quinn, my condolences on the loss of your pet as well. Our dog was just plain a family member--some pets are just that loving and that well loved. bhaze, geez, I didn't even stop to think of all the damage from your storms and flooding. My gosh, those are pricey bananas! My daughter, now 34, read the Little House on the Prairie book series when she was a pre-teen. Wishing you a bit better Sunday next week. Cassie, I'm in southern Ohio. :) Yeah, I find it really sad that we're such a minority on the issue of meds only if there's no sensible alternative to try. My younger sister and brother find it more convenient to take pills than to do any kind of self-help. Both are on a host of meds and are only in their 50s. Golly, you're about the youngest person I know who has glaucoma. So many people ask me why don't I have surgery to cure it and restore my vision loss and they think I'm mistaken when I tell them there is no cure or surgery to do that. Did you have laser surgery to reduce the fluid pressure or create new drainage ducts? Does the procedure you had slow the progression of glaucoma? Will it have to be repeated? Do you still need daily eye drops? Do I ask a lot of questions? ;) symphony\'smom, welcome! Best wishes on losing 5 lbs. this week! Nice goals. :) I did well at a restaurant tonight. I checked the menu online before we went and held firm despite all the specials the waitress quoted to us. I had a sirloin steak, tossed salad with my own salad dressing toted from home, turnip greens, and a diet cola. :) |
