Default Under 400--yippee!

Ha ha--it's a bit ironic to be happy about weighing 393 pounds I suppose, but after six weeks of 1500 cal days (which I find is a pretty comfortable limit) I can now weigh on my 400 lb. limit scale. Goal number one is to hit 299 by 09/05, which is four months since starting my new eating plan on 05/05. I'll need to lose 5.7 lbs a week which is high, but I think doable.

For any of you in a similar situation, remember that we only need to lose one pound which is easy. Then repeat it 200 times.

Cap'n, thanks for asking. Yes, have been doing pretty well--keeping close on average to my cal limit. I only weigh in once a week on Saturday morning and I plan to update this thread weekly with my progress.

Have been trying to get more exercise--I'm abusing our Wii Fit board (330 lb. limit) but it seems to be holding up so far--ha ha--it is a good low impact workout.

Regards,
Michael

Weekly weigh-in this morning--384.5, so another four pounds down I went over my 1500 a couple times this week so that's not bad (including too much steak last night (11oz !) and a couple of beers .

Hope you all have a safe and fun 4th!
