Default Weight loss with Multiple Sclerosis

Hello all. I'm 54, have had MS since I was 28, half my life. The MS challenges me but I'm pretty healthy despite having it. I just joined FitDay and I think this is just what I need, to track me food, exercise so I can hopefully finally lose weight.

If you're motivating, have an understanding heart, maybe we can be weight loss buddies.

If you're willing to push a little bit harder, there's a researcher named Terry Wahls that treated her own very severe MS through a carefully structured diet. She has a TED talk online where she describes her approach and you might even consider contacting her directly for more info.

In any case, you've come to the right place. Lots of supportive people here.

My rules:
1) eat real food - more vegetables, moderate meat, moderate fruits, less grains, less sugar, less vegetable oils.
2) exercise - moderate intensity cardio, sprinting, heavy lifting, dedicated stretching and mobility.
3) live - relax, de-stress, meditate.

Disclaimer: I'm not professionally qualified to make any formal recommendations. I've just done my homework and I'm my own guinea pig. All of my data, unless otherwise cited, comes from a sample size of n=1 (me).
