Overwhelmed by the support here and of course walking would be great, why didn't I think of that? I also figured in a good half hour of solid cleaning per day will help. I logged EVERYTHING I ate today and that was a shocker, almost 3,000 calories. That was an ugly realization but it honed me in in on identifying that I tend to eat when I am bored. Thank you all for the warm welcomes and good advice..... now, action!

The first week I was here I only logged my foods. After the first day or two the realization kicks in, OMG I eat way too much! So I started making healthier food choices....no more McD's for me! I cut as much diet soda from my diet as possible (I'm not a coffee or tea drinker, so the soda is my only form of caffeine. and I'm not a very nice person without my caffeine in the mornings). Added a lot more water to the plan, and like magic the weight started coming off. I lost 10 lbs the first week, and only worked out once that week. It was definitely a shocker! I've always been told that the first 10 lbs is just water weight and that the weight loss will slow down after that, and it has a little. I'm currently down 17 lbs in just over a month. Still really good numbers in 4 weeks, seeing as how 2 lbs a week is my goal.

Make the little changes at first, then add the bigger ones as you go. Find an activity you love to do, and do it...a lot of it The weight will be melting off you in no time!
