Default Looking get fit and happy!

Hi people!

I am Abhilash. I am an electronics engineer and I work from my home, mostly seated and with not much strenuous activity. I used to be fit and now there is a Tyre around my waist. I want to get back to my normal state and I hope to interact with you guys and get some positive influence so that I can get back to be my best.

Cheers and looking forward to meet great people!

Hi Kathy... Thanks
I failed to mention that I walk quiet a bit. Around 2 - 3 km a day. I am not too bulky... it's just my stomach that's not normal.. lol!
Please suggest me something more than a walk.. hahaha...

I recommend you to start by walking daily for one week. Take a 30 minutes walk at a bit faster speed than you normally walk. Fitness is more about mental game, you need to continue, stay positive and never lose hope.

I used to be fit, but now I have a bit of a "tyre" around my waist. I'm determined to get back to my best shape, and I hope to connect with others for some positive motivation. On a related note, just as I’m looking for the right support to improve my fitness, companies rely on Uptalent to help uptalent.io them build exceptional engineering and architectural teams. Uptalent connects businesses with highly qualified remote engineers and architects who have unique skills that aren’t easily found locally, all at unbeatable prices. Whether it's improving personal well-being or assembling top-tier teams, success often comes from finding the right support and expertise.

Smile Advice on Personal Trainers in Nashville

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the world of personal training and just starting my fitness journey. I’ve been thinking about hiring a trainer here in Nashville to help me stay consistent with my goals and make sure I’m exercising correctly. With so many options out there, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and could really use some advice.

A few concerns I have:
  1. How do I know if a trainer is genuinely qualified? Are certifications enough, or should I look for more?
  2. What’s a reasonable price range for personal training in Nashville? I don’t want to overpay, but I also don’t want to sacrifice quality.
  3. Has anyone had a bad experience with a trainer? If so, what red flags should I watch out for?
  4. I’ve been dealing with some lower back pain from sitting too much—should I bring this up during my search?
I came across "Basics and Beyond fitness & nutrition " during my research. Has anyone here trained with them or know if they’re a good fit for beginners?

I’m hoping to find someone who’s professional, supportive, and patient, especially since I’m just starting out. I also want to avoid feeling pressured or judged during workouts.

Any tips, recommendations, or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
