I am learning all I can about the Primal way of eating. I made sausage egg muffins this morning from the MDA site. It was good!

As a former MediFast user my metabolism is really slow and I find myself getting frustrated especially since I have so much weight to lose.

Looking forward to meeting other like-minded people.

Do you think the FitDay metabolic formula that tells you your daily calorie burn rate based on your lifestyle is accurate? That is the one thing I question. Do you think it is best to use a custom setting?

SF, I use the standard FitDay calorie burn calculator, but I also make sure to add sleeping as an activity each day. When I add my sleeping hours I find that it's really pretty accurate. Try it...maybe it will work for you too.

Start (1/9/14): 276.8
Goal: 130ish
Current: 248.6

Age: 43

The only goal I have right now is to get my ass in gear and get the scale moving the other way!
