Smile Changing my Way of Eating.

Hello all,

Just thought it would be nice to have a place to keep track of what I'm trying to do and be encouraged and encourage.....

I've used Fitday.com for a very long time... I think since 2003 or so...

And it's been very useful because if I take the time to actually use it I know where I need to change my eating habits and when I'm off the deep end!

Problem is when I just don't care... so I have over the last 20 year gone from 326 lbs to now 239 lbs I have also yo yo'd up and down from about 225-275 alot

So I woke up 2 weeks ago at 249 and just did not want to see the 250's again so came back here and started my low carb diet back again... I find it satisfying and easy. And with my propensity to eat high carb foods, I get quick weight gain and don't want to flirt with Type 2 diabetes....

So, this coming Sunday will be 2 weeks and I've gone from 249 to 239, not bad.

BTW, my 1st GOAL is to get to 195, 2nd GOAL is to 165.

Carl

I may slightly obsess over weight loss but I am ok with that! lol
I do see the long haul! The journey is composed of many individual steps....
I see each day a step, and I know many days must pass!

I have done well many times, but this time is the last time! Lol, I've never been so ready to stick to this way of eating!

Yesterday I got stuck in my driveway at lunch today.... meaning my 4x4 truck got stuck in the snow of my drive... I had lunch then dug it out, then moved 6 ft and got stuck again, plus 2 more times.... took me 45 mins of shoveling to get back to work.... good exercise for sure but this time of year I have some wishful thinking about not calling the snow plow.... lol

Good exercise that I wasn't planning on... whew!

Thanks for the comment!
Well, it's been about a week since I last posted, weight 238, very happy, haven't really thought too much about what I've been eating, stayed with the low carb way, higher cals than I'd like but did not gain.... win!

Back to watching my total cals, and of course low carbing it all the way!

Happy Easter everyone, post again next week!
