tracking sugar
I'm glad to hear that Fitday.com is making changes to track the sugar in foods. Can I be notified when the improvements are complete, so I can adjust my nutritional goals?
Thanks for the great site!

Sugar
I asked Fitday about sugar a couple of years ago and haven't use Fitday for awhile. When I started using it again this week, I had hoped they would have added sugar by now and was disappointed that they apparently still don't see the importance of it. They track sodium which is very important for health. Tracking sugar is very important towards weight loss and glycemic balance.

Please add a sugar section to our charts
I was sure I was just missing something when I joined and couldn't find a place to input my sugar grams... or thought maybe because it's a U.S. site, and I'm in Canada, that you track it differently (like many of your foods I have to do custom versions of because they vary so greatly).
I have a family history of diabetes and am desperately hoping to avoid getting it myself. I have lost 20 pounds so far by eating more healthily, limiting processed foods, etc. but it would be really useful to be able to track sugar intake as well.
PLEASE add it! Also curious why there's not a spot to track water intake in oz; I can only find it as a nutrient in grams.
Thanks! Loving the site so far!!

Tracey you can track water just like other foods. You can track, tap water, bottled water, Perrier, water as an ingredient, etc. I track Water, bottled, unsweetened and it has a drop down tab for different size bottles or if you just want to track total oz.

That's a cool way around that. I drink a beer on occassion so this would work for me as its really my sugar (as in sweets) that I want to keep an eye on in my charts. Thanks for the idea!

the Belly Fat Cure requires you to track your sugars as well as your carbs... this would help diabetics also. Does FitDay Administrator plan on adding this category? Is there a way to use it... I have read that some use it in the alcohol category? Thank you for your response!
