I agree with everything mentioned. I try to do jumping jacks every time I get up to go to the restroom. I work from home though, so this might be awkward while you're in a work place. There's a lot of little exercises you can do while sitting down too. Make sure to stretch when you get up from sitting because it will boost circulation to those muscles that aren't getting as much use.

the new buzz word is high intensity interval training.
it is simply run for 1 minute as fast as you can and walk for 40 secs recovery.
do this for 10 to 20 minutes.
or bike at fast speed as fast as possible than recover.
any activity at that kind of pace will burn quick calories and the best part it keeps you burning more all day.

Hi Mike,
To lose 20 lbs, watch what you eat and try to workout regularly as it will burn body fat, boost metabolism and helps in losing unwanted weight. Use stairs instead of lift of accelerators, break meals in small frequent meals and prefer raw food over processed food.

Hi. I am a working mom and I find it hard to give exercising a priority in my schedule. I just don't know why is it that even when I am getting burned out from my roles as a mom and a career woman, I am still gaining weight.

I remember my boss at my last job. She took a walk every day at lunch. If you can find a 'walking buddy,' that's one way to get some exercise daily (especially if you pack a lunch to eat at your desk after the walk or before....) It's a starting point - at the very least, it gives you confidence that you are doing something on a regular basis.
