Nice, HC

8 miles @9:15 min/mile. Talked pretty much all the way w/a running buddy. Always a good sign of not pushing too hard. (Race in 2 weeks, just need to maintain fitness)

Been away from the board for a while but i am back and made it to the gym today. Did legs followed by 30 minutes on the elliptical.

With a proper taper and the adrenaline of race day-no problem.

You guys that run and cycle inspire me. I look forward to being able to run and bike at a good pace and for a good distance as I lose weight.

I worked out upper body, went as heavy as I could with good form, upped my weight on a few lifts. I'm doing 3 sets of 5 to try to build some mass, and keep the muscle I have while I lose weight. Also gets me out of the gym faster which I like.

Saturday was 6.4 kilometer/ a little shy of 4 miles, 15 min run 1 min walk, and in the 15 min some sprints and hills, repeated 3 times, weighed today, nothing changed, measures waist, lost 3 cm/just a lil more than 1 inch.

Yesterday my bf made a short body shot video and I swear I look less flabby,so, even though it all goes VERY slow I am motivated to go on.

Today another run, will report back later :)

Ow and I bookmarked a few sites with several exercises without any equipment needed to do at home, now I need to start doing some :)

The easiest to incorporate in daily life core stability exercise: walk upstairs!

Sounds nice Pam, good to have a buddy – Kimbur – welcome back

Nice work Mule and HC – you’.l find that extra 2.1

LiquidLizard, we’ll be rooting for you!

Luscious, looking less flabby is rewarding, I love to watch my muscles while bringing a weight down.

Weekend activity was mostly shoveling, but I’m not complaining, by this time last year we’d had seven major storms. Sunday was not a healthy day, my beloved Patriots caused interesting cardio moments, but I don’t think I can count sitting on the couch drinking beer shouting as exercise!

Today – One nice fast mile followed by a good weight lifting session!

Abby

3 miles easy today

lusciousL 01-23-2012 04:47 AM

8.4 kilometer/ 5.2 miles, it took me an hour and 20 minutes

I did 3 times 20 minutes running (I'd better start calling it jogging, feel like such a wannabe) and 1 minute walk, and did a few sprints uphill.

I would like to run 10K / 6.2 miles in 60 minutes, I'm a looong way from that goal.

Abby thanks for the shout out. believe it or not it was enough to motivate to get to the gym today so thank you :)

Did back and biceps today followed by the elliptical.
