Default what is keto diet?

The keto diet (short for ketogenic diet) is a low-carb, high-fat diet. It works by cutting down carbs so much that your body goes into a state called ketosis, where it burns fat for energy instead of carbs.

In simple terms:

  • Eat: meat, eggs, cheese, nuts, low-carb veggies, healthy fats.
  • Avoid: bread, pasta, rice, sugar, most fruits.
It’s popular for weight loss and may help with energy levels and focus.
