The best diet is a life style change. Eat goods foods and exercise. A fitness guy made this statement to me one day "Keep within one step of the food source...pick an apple, eat an apple; kill a chicken, eat a chicken. When's the last time you killed a pop-tart!"

When someone puts on weight then dieting is the main ingredient for weight loss along with exercise. In order to loose weight you should first decide a menu and plan your meals accordingly along with maintaining your calories. Personally I eat salad and grilled chicken for lunch. Sunday is the only day I have my cheat day where I still maintain my calories. For breakfast I have good quantity of food like oatmeal, fruits and nuts. Make sure you exercise and sleep properly.
