Totally inappropriate for a family oriented forum IMO, not the whole thread just the post by "HERPESGENERATOR", the user CP was what caught my eye.

got it. I'm dealing with my monitor that went out on my computer. I've learned quickly that no matter how good your computer is, if your screen is blank, your computer is useless. I will be checking in daily but may not be on as much as before. Gimmie a few days and the sheriff will be back in full force.:D

Three posts today from "leecoper" and each has a link to a flat belly website...

yeah I just noticed that. It looks like it's just an article, I didn't see anything for sale or anything like that. I didn't notice that it was posted in all 3 posts. I'll keep an eye on it, as it may be subtle spamming. I won't pull the trigger yet.

Another good catch. These guys must be desperate for traffic--their new strategy seems to be make a couple innocuous posts, then go for the spam link in number three. Sigh!

Also, member Whodajpaa seems to be posting text articles from other websites onto the forums -- there are a couple in the Weight Loss Tips forum and a couple spread out in other places.

There aren't any links or spam that I can see, so I don't know if it's ok or not. I just often don't like seeing text that seems to be copy/pasted from elsewhere without proper crediting :)

Almost all the way down the page, there's a link to a blog...but it's not like the normal member blogs you see here. Not sure if it's spam, but it's annoying.

Yeah, I whacked them a couple times myself. This seems to be a pretty common tactic to make a bunch of posts that are somewhat on topic, then start adding spam links. Sneaky spammers really annoy me!

Yep I believe the member is at 9 posts, if they continue to post without removing the link then I'll remove it... The only way I know how. ;)
