Saturday - 4 miles in Hovenweep National Monument (WAY COOL - Utah/Colo border)
Sunday - 6 miles back at Mesa Verda
Monday - 6 miles back at Hovenweep
Wonderful trip, Fantastic ruins...sore dogs...
Tomorrow we are going to Ute tribal lands -- I think this will be a lot on driving (FINELY), but Wednes will be another day of lots of walking at Chaco Canyon (Chaco Culture National Historical Park [new mexico] - NPS).

Tuesday my pedometer said I walk 18000 steps...BUT, the dirt road we were hiking off of was really bumpy -- the pedometer thought i was walking.
I'm guessing I hiked about 4 miles.
Chaco Canyon was wonderful - massive ruins, and massive walking. 11 miles!
luckly for me today is a rest day - 0 miles!!! (I hope)
