It's not easy to eat healthy while on the road. But when I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, I had to monitor my nutrition thoroughly. Moreover, I needed to lose weight, though I read about Victoza online and it is supposed to help me with this. Here are some meals I eat and prepare in advance:
- cucumber sandwiches
- salad boats with fresh romaine lettuce
- lettuce wraps with lunch meat or leftover meat from the previous night's dinner
- salads in a jar
- pre-made smoothie bags with your favorite fruits
- buddha bowls (I cook the necessary ingredients ahead of time and assemble them when it's meal time).
