Smile What is the net amount of eating carbs to lose weight?

Following the dietary guidelines that you get 45%-65% of calories of your daily calorie intake. You should eat 225gm-325gm of daily carbs generally. If you want to lose weight you need to eat 50gm-150gm of carbs on daily basis.

Carbs provide 45 - 65 % of your daily calorie intake. If you consume 2000- calorie diet, you should target for about 225 to 325 gms of carbs per day. But when you are on weight loss diet then you have to take around 50 to 150 gms of carbs per day. Visit our site if you need more information.

Before starting a low carb diet you must know that you may experience a temporary hair loss. Level of hair loss varies from person to person. The major reason for hair loss is due to a big change in diet.

Are you talking about entering ketosis or on a regular diet? If you are on a regular diet its basically calories in /out. log your diet for two weeks count the calories then start dieting down from there to be a calorie deficit.

If you are looking to do a ketogenic diet you should limit your total (not net) carbs to 20g or less per day. The ketosis will suppress your appetite and make losing weight very easy. Dr Jason Fung's The Obesity Code makes for interesting reading, as does anything by Dr Eric Westman.

The lower the carbohydrate intake, the greater the effect on weight reduction is likely to be. The most beneficial amount appears to be below 20 net grams per day, while it is simpler and can also be useful for many people to stay below 50.
