Any tips for a 300-pound woman who has just given birth? Thanks!

I'm not a woman but you should recover first. Once you recover, start by changing your diet and start walking. Start slow and then work your way up.

First of all you should have a diet plan. Than you should walk some steps daily as much as you can easily. When you feel that you can do jogging than you should. After this other stages came.

You do not have to starve yourself to lose weight. Tried so many things but didnt work out for me (I get tired easily doing exercise) then I came across this blog shrinkthosefats.blogspot.com where I learnt red tea is very effective for weight loss.
I was able to lose about 15 pounds within first few weeks though accompanied with little cardio.
I'm not saying it's going to work for you as it works for me, but you can give it a try since there's no harm in trying plus they've even started giving discounts.
You can thank me later... Hope it works for you as it works for me.
