7-Day Motivational Thread 8/6/12: Let's Bring It!

Good Monday Morning!

Who's in for the week?

Same goals for me this week. I was more successful last week than I've been in months with them, but there's always room for improvement :).

1. Calories below 1300.
2. Balance pie chart and follow my rules.
3. 72 oz. fluid daily.
4. Log everything and post daily.
5. Eat clean.
6. 3-4 fruits and veggies per day (I'm stealing ).
7. Take all vitamins and supplements.
8. Sleep 7 hours, at least, per night.
9. Exercise 6 hours total this week.

canary52 08-06-2012 01:30 AM

I'm in - for 5 days. After that and for possibly the next few weeks, I will be taking my girl to college and then going on vacay.

So for as long as I can (even if I'm not on the forum) my goals
1) plan meals
2) drink more water
3) walk and or gym
4) don't be psycho
5) avoid gratitious sugar
6) stretch, how could I forget?
7) lose the two pounds I gained back

kayla.underhill 08-06-2012 01:51 AM

I'm in! My weekend did not go even remotely as planned. Simply out of control. But I'm back and I'm gonna make it all up this week!

1) Stay within calorie limits.
2) Get 3 workouts done.
3) Keep carbs @or under 33%.
4) Get to bed by 10:30.

Other:
1) Finish cleaning out and scrubbing house.
2) Stick with budget, and STOP OVERSPENDING!

That's all I have for this week. Have a good Monday everyone!

jjrudd 08-06-2012 01:54 AM

Goals for the week
1. Exercise for 30 mins 5x this week
2. Drink more water (at least 6 250ml glasses)
3. Eat more fruit
4. Be kind to myself. Not to beat myself up because I ate something bad. Tomorrow is another day.

01gt4.6 08-06-2012 02:26 AM

I'm in. I'm waiting on Tori to get off her rump to set some goals for us. I hope she chimes in soon before I head into a downward spiral. I'm assuming she'll require us to be in at least the 95.267% club but I don't want to speculate.

Today I weighed in at 185.4#. My GF is to blame for that gain and Tori will be to blame if it gets worse, as I wait for her to post up our goals. I'm sure with all the blaming I have going on, it's touched a soft spot in her heart (if she has one). Just knowing that I've learned so well from her should bring a tear to her eye.

quinnesec 08-06-2012 02:28 AM

I'm in. Fell of the wagon over the weekend because things have gotten crazy busy around here. Hope, I'm in the same boat... getting daughter packed and ready for college. So much to do at the last minute it seems. Going to keep my goals the same and simplistic because I think that is about all that I can manage for the next couple of weeks.

1. Calories under 1200.
2. Drink more!
3. Walk every day... NO LAME EXCUSES!
4. At least one fruit or vegetable with each meal... total basics!
5. No breads with breakfast or lunch; limited at supper.

judipurple 08-06-2012 02:54 AM

: opens one eye, groans, slooooowly gets up :

Yup, it's Monday...

Lemme see - goals for the week:

1) Post #'s daily
2) Get the 5K done at least 3X this week - keep the running/sprints at or above 200' per, and do at least (gads) 5 per 5K
3) Keep calories under 1500
4) Keep carbs under 90g
5) Take supplements

There - maybe being successful in the goals above will bring me some movement on that danged scale...maybe?

01gt4.6 08-06-2012 03:04 AM

Judi.... GET UP!!!!!!!!!!

Mern 08-06-2012 03:11 AM

I just woke up an hour ago--was glued to the NASA station on the computer last night watching the real time coverage of the unmanned rover Curiosity landing on Mars. OMG, that was just incredible with the Odyssey orbit being in sync to send back, within minutes, photos of Curiosity with its wheels safely on the surface. I just had to stay awake to be a part of that history. :)

My scale SCREAMED 223 lbs. this morning. Have been off the wagon since July 31, eating whatever I wanted, way too much salty food, and way low water consumption.

Strictly back on the wagon. Same goals but with exercise and water being at the top of the list:

Exercise five days
Water 64 oz.
Calorie limit 1500
Eat clean
Total carbs less fiber limit 25g
Fiber target average 25g
Cholesterol average 250mg or less
Sat fat average 11% or less of total calories
Protein average 120g

wildbeanerz 08-06-2012 03:12 AM

I'm in. This weekend was very good and very fun! Saturday I spent over 2 hrs knee deep in my pond pulling water weeds and algae. Sounds fun huh? I love it though! I ate well even though we went to a pig roast Saturday night. I did have ice cream and cheese w/crackers that night though. LOL ... Yesterday food wise started off horrible. I had sausage gravy over biscuits and 2 egg whites. Way overate on the gravy & cheddar garlic biscuits. However that was all that I ate all day until about 9pm I had a hot dog on a bun from a campfire. Who can resist that and ummm I was starving by then. My hubby on the other hand got blitzed out of his mind. Why? Because he didn't eat before splitting a case of Corona's with his buddy in about 2-3 hrs. Men never listen to the wives. http://www.msn101.com/content/emotic...ead_ZPDD8V.gif LOL ... Oh well, while he was having fun with his buddy I was getting my ink done by his friend's wife. I am very happy with it. Everyone that I have showed it to seems to really like it but I know I have seen some bad tats in my life and never said "Oh my God ... you know that is permanent right?" LOL Anyway here's a pic. Don't mind the blood. It is still bleeding a bit this morning.
http://i517.photobucket.com/albums/u...AyMjUuanBn.jpg

Goals I think I will stick with what I know works.

Fitness / Health Goals ...
1. 100 oz water a day (more is better)
2. Walk on lunch 4 out of 5 days
3. Workout 4 times (nights work too)
4. 5 fruits/veggies a day
5. Dinner - cut back on portions
6. Weigh & post it daily M: 229.2lbs,

Life Goals ...
1. Put away laundry (already folded it!)
2. Encourage but don't push
3. Keep paperwork caught up at work
4. Repaint my nails (me time!)

I'll post the goals when I get home. No Internet access on the work computer. It's like they think we'd visit non work related sites or something!

bojibridge 08-06-2012 04:13 AM

Hey guys!

I'm so off the wagon... where is this wagon of which you speak? I haven't seen any wagons around here in forever!

Anyway... I weighed in at 164.6 lbs this morning - an unfortunate 10 lbs up from my lowest, which I logged back at the beginning of July before my trip to Europe. As I stated a couple weeks ago, I've really been struggling with personal stuff and emotional issues lately, and I've been eating like... well, I was going to say, "like you wouldn't believe," but I know you guys know what it's like. Anyway, I'm not sure what the solution is. I know part of the problem is that I haven't been to the gym in a while. And that brings me to my goals:

1.) Go to the gym today (Monday)
2.) Drink the dang water
3.) Step away from the alcohol

Uh, so, yeah, that's going to be all. I don't have a problem (like, you know, a problem) with alcohol, but it's extra calories that just don't need to be there.

Mern - I too was watching the landing (of course, it's right up my alley), and one of my friends was live-blogging from the control center, so I had a vested interest! It was thrilling, wasn't it? An amazing feat of engineering, no dress rehearsals for that stuff!

cjohnson728 08-06-2012 04:50 AM

Hope and Quinn...I have to give you ladies major props. I don't know how you are doing it. I am emotional this week over the fact that three years from now I will shopping for dorm fridges and getting ready to send my child off into the blue! I hope I can handle it as gracefully as you two seem to be. Last week I ran into my son's second grade teacher in the grocery store and started tearing up at the memories :(.

Mike, put on your big boy britches and take responsibility for your actions. Here, for your convenience: http://www.fitday.com/fitness/forums...y-you-fat.html.

Joanna, glad to see you again! I hope you had a wonderful trip and that things are getting resolved with respect to your other issues.

Mern, how was your trip? Did you get to do the picnic you planned? It's good to have you back ;).

April, your ink looks really cool! The numbers are at the bottom of the body, right? And as long as your artist wasn't the one getting blitzed, no harm, no foul, right? I'm sure your DH was wishing all the next day he had listened!

Everybody's goals look really good. I think we can make this a great week :D!

jjrudd 08-06-2012 05:10 AM

Since we are all being honest here...went to Ribfest for lunch today. It's a big deal where I live. Such a nice day and I did walk around the park. Got a pulled pork sandwich. OMG the thing is HUGE:O. To add insult to it I walked past a booth with buttertarts--which are my weakness. It was so gooey good!! There is no amount of working out that would counteract all of those calories:(

cjohnson728 08-06-2012 05:16 AM

jjrudd, I was just thinking earlier about how good your last goal was. I would say now, take that advice and move forward. Just be good the rest of today and the next few days and put it behind you. One day won't sink you.

edinburghgirl 08-06-2012 05:50 AM

I'm in!
Goals -
Stay at 1200 calories a day,
walk one way or both ways to work or appointments each day,
follow the 80/20 rule.
Clean eating.

non weight loss goals-
Exam Revision!

Hmmm... how we're doing it. Well for me, from June at the conclusion of her junior year until now has been an emotional, financial and completely exhausting roller coaster of senior/college/scholarship responsibilities, deadlines and paperwork. The only way that I can explain it is that it's like being sucked into a meat grinder and being spit out the other end one year later! (Note that both Hope and I already have our vacations booked once they leave! lol)

By the time you are spit out the other end, (August, after the conclusion of their senior year) you're ready for them to go so that you can resume a normal life.

I remember a friend of mine saying to me at the end of my daughter's junior year, "You are about to enter into a dizzying, expensive, and exhausting year." No truer words could have been spoken, except that it was more like 15 straight months. If you need to rely on scholarships, like we did, it's a lot of work but it's worth it in the end.

Mern 08-06-2012 06:59 AM

edinburghgirl, welcome. :) I probably should know: what's the 80/20 rule?

jjrudd, Ribfest and a butter tart sound yummy. But now it's behind you and you can start fresh. :)

Joanna, just awesome that you had a friend blogging from mission control last night! 10 years planning this mission--so thrilling to see all their tears of joy last when the safe landing of Curiosity was confirmed. I'm not well educated in science, but I love being part of this history. Can't wait to see what new info comes out of this. :)

Mackanac Island was wonderful and we did get to do the picnic on the lawn in front of Ft. Mackinac and with a beautiful view of Lake Huron. We had fresh, delicious club sanwiches (roast beef, turkey, ham, lettuce and tomato) and potato salad from Doud's Market where the locals do their grocery shopping. Of course my Diet Coke cancelled out all the carbs and calories. :p Didn't get to eat dinner in Mackinaw City after our tour, though, because my girlfriend wasn't feeling well so we drove back to our motel 1 1/2 hours south of the island and she went to bed. I had a low carb protein shake and fudge for dinner.

I was really proud of myself on vacation. My back was in great shape for all the walking we did. I've come such a long way from my walking/standing stamina of only 5 minutes last year. At one stretch last Wednesday we were walking and window shopping downtown for 40 minutes and I did not need to sit down to rest.

Hope and Quinn, best wishes on getting your girls off to college. How exciting! Live-in GD and I went to her local college today to get her books--all but one that is on special order, but should be in some time next week.

wildbeanerz 08-06-2012 07:45 AM

I don't envy those of you sending your kids/grandkids off to college. My oldest will be a sophomore this year. I don't think I am going to have to do the college thing for him though. He is determined that he is joining the Navy. Even as far as beginning to make plans to do his boot camp / basic training in between junior and senior year. He is taking welding at the vo-tech for the next three years and would like to do aqua welding in the Navy.

Mern...your picnic sounds wonderful. Sorry some of your trip was cut short by your friend not feeling well though.

JJRudd ... it's just one day. I had half a funnel cake on 4th of July weekend. Didn't feel bad one bit and got right back to eating well the next day. I figure if I can't live life and have a treat sometimes then this really isn't worth it.

Cassie ... Yes the numbers are under the body. They did not come out as clear as expected but the whole thing is still puffy. I am hoping that once the puffiness goes down that they look better. If not we will cover them and putt hem somewhere else. Oh does that mean getting another tattoo? LOL

Mike ... If you whine any louder I think the wahhhhmbulance might come for you!

traceymc1985 08-06-2012 08:04 AM

Hi everyone- another new week and i really hope to go throught the whole week with a positive feeling.
I lost 1lb this morning at weigh in- i am aiming for more than that next week though. I know i should be pleased with the pound but my sister has lost 5lbs in past 2 weeks and she is a stone lighter. At my weight shouldnt i be able to lose more? I know i shouldnt make it a competition but she is seeming to eat everything like chocolate and takeaways plus alcohol but said today that she wasnt eating lunch which i guess is why shes losing so much weight- undereating, ive tried to tell her this isnt the good way to go but shes very stubborn and has an answer for everything- i still love her though. I know this is unhealthy to do and i dont intend to follow suit but its just me knowing that i could have done better but thats what this week is all about.

This has to be a proud moment for you. Oh and that damn rain. If I could blame it on the rain I would, but my yard is a MESS!!!

I can only fit in my big boy britches. "Hanging around" Tori has honed my blaming skills. I've learned from her that it's much easier to blame others that it is to accept responsibility. ;) She's probably one of those kids that were always that bad influence that my parents always warned me of. Thanks for the link, maybe I can see if I can blame that idiot... oh wait.

The wahhhhmbulance driver probably won't make it in time. He'll probably get stuck in traffic because some idiot that causes an accident.

Damn I'm getting good at this blame game!

For real though, Tori ("Big T" as we call her in the hood) will be making our goals, if she ever decides to get around to it. I'm ready to rock it, she's going down like a PUNK!

edinburghgirl 08-06-2012 09:49 AM

Mern,

the 80/20 rule is eat healthy 80% of the time and allow yourself something you want etc 20% of the time. You still stay within your calorie limit but I find it helps in social situations or when my hormones are having a temper tantrum!

A random and unrelated 80/20 fact: apparently we wear 20% of our wardrobes 80% of the time.

First of all "Big T"????? Second, I'm getting to the goals. Some of us had to actually work today, give me a little bit of time. And lastly....I'm not even gonna touch that last sentence

edinburghgirl - another 80/20 rule we throw around in my department (where writing research journal articles for publication is the thing to do) is that it takes 20% of the time to do 80% of the work, and then you'll spend the rest of the 80% of the time doing the last 20% of the work to get the paper ready for publication... it's pretty much true.

April, how do you feel about your son going into the Navy?

Edinburghgirl, thanks for explaining the 80/20 rule on the food. I can relate to the 80/20 wardrobe fact. I have certain clothes that if they're clean, they're on my body. LOL

Tracey, I know it's really annoying that you don't lose as quickly as your sister. I feel the same way about how quickly most men can lose weight while we women struggle to lose just a pound. Easier said than done, but we must try to not compare ourselves with others. Like my doc says, "You don't have to be perfect, just better than you used to be." That pound lighter IS better than you used to be. Big hug to ya!

Joanna, I can see that 80/20 rule on articles to be published, too.

Had a good day on food, water, and exercise. I should have a nice report tomorrow. :)

kayla.underhill 08-06-2012 02:53 PM

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous Monday. I actually had a splendiferous Monday. Not a word, don't care at all. I woke up early this morning and snuggled with the baby for a while (I should stop saying baby, she's almost 18 months old.), then we got up and had breakfast. I went to my final interview and was HIRED for the bestest job ever. Then I came home and cardio and strength trained my butt off, watched some Criminal Minds (my favorite) and then went to my old horrible job and put in my 2 week notice. It has been a simply lovely day, but also exhausting and I am so ready for bedtime. Here are my #'s for today.

1) Stay within calorie limits. Yes, 618.
2) Get 3 workouts done. M-Yes.
3) Keep carbs @or under 33%. 35% :/
4) Get to bed by 10:30. On my way now. :)

Other:
1) Finish cleaning out and scrubbing house. I definitely made some progress today. :)
2) Stick with budget, and STOP OVERSPENDING! I went a whole day without buying anything I don't need! GO ME!

Side note, I drank 5 bottles of water today. Maybe I just needed to drop the pressure of having it as a goal?

April, your new ink is lovely. I cannot wait to get my next one and post pictures. :) Maybe I missed it, what are the numbers for?

Tracey, one pound is awesome. You are lighter today than you were yesterday, focus on the positive!

Mern, happy to have to back, glad to hear you had fun on your trip!

Tori and Mike, you two crack me up!

Well, its my bedtime, goodnight everyone! See ya tomorrow! :D

Hi everyone, I’m in!
In 4 1/2 weeks I am going to a costume party and I am wearing a corset!! The first one I bought for the party is now too big YAY! I have ordered two more in the next two sizes down as I am not sure what weight I will be by then. I would really like to get into the smaller one by then but that might be a little ambitious. Needless to say I want to stay on track this week. Also, I have bought some 2 kilo hand weights as I’m nervous about baring my flabby upper arms to the world. If anyone has any idea what to do with the weights to tone my arms tips would be welcome.
Weekends have been my failings, we seen to socialize with food and there is so much yummy stuff! All of it high in fat and carbs. I have decided that I can have a few more calories on the weekends but I will try and keep it under 1800, I am hoping that knowing I can have some will stop me from having all. We shall see.

Goals for this week Monday to Friday
• Log my weight here daily : M: 82.8kg-(182.54lb) T:82.4kg-(181.66)
• Start weekly body measurements: M:nope T:tomorrow I promise!
• Calories under 1350: M:1774 T:1424
• Carbs 33% or under M:49% T:26%
• At least 20 mins physical activity per day M:no T:no
• Start using those hand weights M:no, but I didn’t make the goal until Tuesday T:no, still don’t really know what to do with them.

Cassie- Thanks for kicking us off :), I love your sig. It was one of the first I noticed when I joined a few weeks back. I found myself reciting it after eating something I shouldn’t have, it is a wonderful reminder for me as I am known for throwing in the towel after one slip up. Not any more though!
Canary- hehe love goal 4
Kayla – arrghh I hear you on out of control weekends, can anyone say all you can eat pizza hut? :/
Your day with bub sounds wonderful though, I miss my little girl being that young! And congrats on the new job,
Quinn- Big hugs, it must be hard to let go of your little girl…. But exciting too. Because of all you have done right she is off to college. Be gentle with yourself.
Mike- hehe, you always make me giggle
Tori- beat him to that 170! :P
Mern- welcome back to the wagon, I’m clinging on to the back somewhere.
April – Love the tattoo, you are right about there being some bad tatts out there, but that one is really lovely.
Boji- yep, I need to stay away from the drinks too…. The six udl’s I had last weekend, after making last weeks goal to not drink any alcohol :( really pushed the calorie count through the roof.

Nicaleh, sorry I can't help you on the arm exercises. Kudos on the too-big corset! :) I think it's a great idea for you to allow yourself to have 1800 calories on weekend--still can have treats but there's a limit. Here's hoping you and I can get further to the middle of the wagon today. I know we can if we really try.

Kayla, congrats on the new job. So glad your Monday was splendiferous! :D
I still call 18th month olds babies. Great that you had that special snuggle time. :)

Cassie, nice report yesterday!

April, I forgot to say your tat is pretty. :)

bojibridge 08-07-2012 02:05 AM

For yesterday:

1.) Go to the gym today (Monday) - Yes
2.) Drink the dang water - Yes
3.) Step away from the alcohol - Yes

I did pretty good overall. My calories were at 1650, which is higher than I usually aim for, but I purposely didn't set that as a goal, so I'm not beating myself up about it. The scale came down 2.4 lbs, which is great although not a surprise, since the first day or so getting back into things when I've been off the rails is usually like that - probably just water, etc.

I think I will set new goals for today:

1.) Reiterate to myself why I'm doing this, and why I'm going to keep doing it, and why it's worth the struggle (write it down or something)
2.) Drink the dang water
3.) Stay away from the alcohol
4.) Maybe go to the gym, but don't beat myself up about it if I don't

Mern, awesome day yourself! You had a great start to the week and I'm glad your trip was enjoyable.

Tori, Mike, nice work yesterday. Keep it up!

Nichaleh, this was in the exercise thread about possible exercises; haven't had time to peruse it but check it out: Exercise & Muscle Directory. I hope your outfit rocks! I was trying to find a corset last year online for my gothic slut Halloween costume. Well, you know how there are programs that track what you search for and then put up related ads...I got slutty clothing ads for a week and a half before I got around to changing the settings. Got some interesting comments at work ;).

Joanna, Kayla, I know you ladies will have another strong day today!

Gotta run...time for jail (no water for me this morning :p).

New to FitDay

I just joined today - so even though I am a day late I am going to list goals for the week (hope that's okay....):

1) Journal every day and learn fit day program
2) Download fitday app to iphone and learn it
3) Walk 10 miles over course of this week
4) Be at least 3000 calories short for week total (only 6 days now -so 500/day)

That's enough for now :)

I have done WW in the past but wanted to try something different... I just turned 40 and am 77 pounds overweight.

wildbeanerz 08-07-2012 02:25 AM

3. Keep paperwork caught up at work M: Yeah,
4. Repaint my nails (me time!) M: No - had company over,

So my tattoo artist came to check on my ankle last night. We are already discussing adding more color into it where it was trying to bleed out and we have decided to add some swirls and maybe a few stars & twinkles around it. We will cover the numbers that are there now and move them out and incorporate with the stars since they are so small that they kind of ran together now. ... Last night was fun. She & her hubby (my hubby's work friend) came over and they brought their little girl who is almost 4 yrs old. I have been horrible about having them throw away some of their old stuff. I either have it in storage totes under their beds or in the attic (clean up there too). So my youngest went and got out the play foods box. They played for quite a while. When she tired of that my oldest helped her put it away and then he went up to the attic and brought down the lincoln logs. They all three played with them building cabins and stuff. It was so sweet but it made me a little sad. I really, really wanted to have a little girl but never did and now that time is passed for me. I will wait for grandchildren (YEARS from now!). I told hubby though that I would gladly borrow their little girl if they need a date night though ;)

Mern .. I have very mixed feelings about him joining the Navy. I am proud of him for knowing what he wants. I know that he will get a very good training and probably be more mature for it, although he is already very mature. I also know that him doing this will save us some of the college money that we don't have for a while. However.... I am not a person who believes in war. So I have very mixed feelings.

Tracey ... It is hard not to compare yourself to someone else when losing weight. You just have to know that every person's body is different and you will lose at your own pace. Her pace may be too fast for your body to maintain. I am comfortable losing at my rate because I feel it is maintainable. Every pound I lose is one that I must maintain.

Kayla ... A new job! Yay!!! Sounds like you did have an awesome day yesterday. Giving 2 weeks notice at a sucky job made my day just over 2 yrs ago so I know that feeling so well!! :) ... The numbers in my tattoo are my starting weight 331 lbs. The tattoo was in remembrance of losing 100 lbs. Every time I see it I will know that I lost 100 lbs and do not wish to regain them.

Nichaleh ... Look on YouTube for Fitness Blender. Then scan through their workouts for arm exercises. They have some really nice easy to follow routines. I do most of them with 10lb dumb bells but some I can only use 5 lb ones for (like V Raises). I am working on toning up my loose arms too but I feel I may be fighting a losing battle. I'm gonna keep trying though!

Calories: 1,498 Fats: 73.7g Carbs: 83.4g Protein: 131.8

1) Post #'s daily : M yes
2) Get the 5K done at least 3X this week - keep the running/sprints at or above 200' per, and do at least (gads) 5 per 5K : M yes
3) Keep calories under 1500 : M yes
4) Keep carbs under 90g : M yes
5) Take supplements: M yes

Also painted the foyer walls and ceiling. Gotta finish the trim today.

Mike, Tori - you two are a pair that'd beat three of a kind, to be sure! Too funny!
April - that tattoo is very pretty - and quite well done. I miss having girls in the house growing up - soooo much testosterone around here!
Mern - a belated welcome back!
Nichaleh - I have been using light weights when I walk in hopes of tightening the upper arms - these bat wings are stubborn!
aakers01 - Welcome! It's a good group here - and FitDay is a great way to keep track of everything.
Kayla - Congrats on the new job!
Tracey - I know how you feel - I too get frustrated when ppl like Dh skip one meal and drop 3 lbs overnight - while I am watching and recording every calorie, working harder than I ever have, and the scale is stalled for 3 weeks! GRRRRRRRR!!! But we will prevail!!!

Well, sitting here isn't getting much done - hope you all have a good day, and keep on keepin' on!

Mern 08-07-2012 04:37 AM

aakers. Welcome--glad you joined us. New members are welcome even on the last day of our weekly thread if they wish. Nice goals! Looking forward to getting to know you. I'm 66 and 100+ lbs. overweight, but my goal is to just get to the point where I'm more healthy, feel and look better in my clothes. I'm aiming for 150 lbs. and will reassess my weight goals when I get there. :)

Joanna, I got a good chuckle out of your "drink the dang water." You're so ladylike. I used a stronger adjective for my exercise this morning, but it would be censored here. LOL Kudos on the 2.4 lbs. water loss. I lost 1.5 lbs. of water overnight, so I know how good that feels after one day back on the wagon. I like your thinking--it really doesn't pay to beat oneself up over not meeting a goal or aspiration. Your goal number one is inspiring--thanks for sharing that.

Cassie, thanks for your encouragement. Oh, I almost forgot you don't like to use the restrooms at the jail when you have business there. I hope things went well for you there.

April, kudos on your Monday report. Nice that you can adjust that tat to give more color and coverage. :) We still have a few stuffed animals my 30+ year old kids outgrew and toy food and resin/plastic farm animals and storybooks my grandkids outgrew. We drag them out when little ones come to visit. Grandkids are great--you get all the fun without the responsibility. I totally understand your feelings about your son joining the Navy.

Judi, thanks for the welcome back. Great job Monday! Keep up the good work! :)
