Surprise for me!
I went to the market today to get a few things. For the first time I was able to do the shopping without stopping to sit down and rest. I did rest afterwards but not during it. This is the first time in years that I have been able to do this. My back did hurt but not so bad that I had to take a break while shopping.

Congratulations Wanda51. Its always wonderful to know one is making progress even if it is in a small way. I don't know your history as I just started this site yesterday and I have a long way to go - but each journey begins with a single step!

Wanda the more weight that comes off the better you'll feel, and the more you'll be able to do. Be careful not to overdo it, you don't want to strain your heart, but I'm so happy for you that you could do things like shopping without it hurting you too much now! You're doing such a good job and I'm sure it's really motivating for you to see how much good this is doing for you!
Pumpkinbelly good luck to you too! I like your name. I thought it a bit ironic in that if someone did fill their belly with pumpkin that they'd likely lose weight, but that pumpkins themselves are round.
