I want to say to the big honcho that "I do not have to delve out my life for your approval, and I don't need to have scientific facts to hold a conversation about life and people! Get over yourself not every conversation is an argument for your enjoyment!" but I don't wanna get fired >.>

Mike: Tsk, to intentional cheating, shouldn't give yourself that. then you'll be like, well since I cheated yesterday I might as well cheat tomorrow and so on.
Sorry you're having an emo day. When I feel like that I just offer to pour someone a big glass of STFU, that usually help.
As for my cheats, I always give myself one a week, sometimes I do take more. I've been known to fall of the wagon, get run over by it, then dragged (dragged doesn't sound correct ) behind it. Even when I get that far behind I always find a way to get back on the wagon and take control. It would be much more difficult to get it together with the support from these peeps. I guess I kinda gives new meaning to playing with your food.

Glad your muscle soreness is the good kind meaning you're working harder than before. Hope you get over your runny nose soon. Mine is almost always from seasonal allergies. I totally understand about your craving for a blast. We had hot soft pretzels in the house last week and I finally caved and ate one just to get the craving out of my system. I figured if I didn't, by the time the craving got too strong I'd eat two or three in one sitting instead of one. Oh, that's so fun to think you're over on a food target and then you find out you simply logged something wrong. I did that last week.
Don't y'all have a Sams Club by you? They have great soft pretzels. I like the cinnamon and sugar one. They are HUGE, soft, warm and lightly dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Plus they are like a $1. Amy, I'm sure you know that I didn't just forget what I was saying and left that space blank. Back to Mern, my nose isn't running but I just feel a little off. I think I'll wait until Sunday to give blood, if they are open. I don't want to give today and find out later that I'm sick. It's not like a totally dread getting stuck with a needle, like in the past, but if I'm going to get stuck, I at least want them to be able to use my blood. I totally agree about getting a craving out the way.

I think my cheat day is done. I went lite today, one doughnut (well honey bun) and I got a Caramel Sundae instead of a blast. It has like 100 or so less calories than a blast. I haven't logged anything for the day but I may go back and put it all in, just out of curiosity.

I think I asked this before... is it donuts or doughnuts? Are they both correct. My spell check only pick it up when I go singular, as in donut. Maybe that means that I should eat more?

pfft a spoon. This isn't as soft as the Mickey D's soft serve. You have to eat this bad boy with a spoon. Speaking of orange and black wrappers, my biggest struggle is around the corner! Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!! Reese's PB cups, Reese's Pieces, Butterfingers, Kit Kat, Twix, Snickers... ohh the agony!

I remember going through my Halloween bag after a long night of trick-or-treating. I always had to wheel and deal at the end of the night. Sitting on the living room floor with my candy all spread out saying "I'll give you 2 Starburst, 3 Jolly Ranchers and a Fireball for a Butterfinger and a Kit Kat." Oh last year was so great. j/k

Oh I was just asked to do a 5k race. It's a Susan G. Koman "walk for the cure" breast cancer walk. I've never done a 5k so it should be fun. The only problem is that I'm late finding out about it, since it's in October and I think I'm supposed to raise money for this race from people to support me. I guess I need to get busy trying to drum up some funds, I'm sure I'll make some sort of donation (not sure how much since I'm about to mail of my quarterly taxes). I sure as hell won't show up looking like a slacker without many donations, so I need to get busy on a web page for me. Wish me luck ladies.

Mike, that's a lot of green in your report this week. And even though you went over your carb goal a few times, you were still under what the average American eats in carbs per day. Best wishes with the family diet sabotage. I rarely can claim that excuse. But kudos on one donut instead of two--that'll help with your carb count. I missed your point about having a Sam's Club. Yeah, I do--only two miles from my house. Are you talking about the hot pretzels? If so, yeah, they have them, they're so delicious, and I am a member, but they're not in a place where the aroma wafts over to the checkout lane. But my strategy is to try to choose a checkout lane closer to the exit door to help avoid temptation. My temptation now is that the dollar store we go to often has frozen hot pretzels 6 for $1 and they're almost as good as Sam's. My high school grandkids bake them in the oven and the 7 & 10 year olds are content with them popped in the microwave for 30 seconds. Yeah, best to not give blood if you might be coming down with something. I believe doughnuts is the original spelling but some bakeries shortened it to donuts for the name of their product and it kinda became at least socially acceptable to spell it as donuts now. There ya go--just like I say kinda for kind of, wanna for want to, ya instead of you. May not be grammatically correct, but everyone knows what it means and it saves me typing. So go ahead and type donut. LOL

April, congrats on all the green in your report as well! Best wishes with the Italian lunch. Let us know how it went. We have an Italian restaurant here where I could get something other than pasta or other high calorie or high carb stuff--like Chicken Parmesan and veggies of the day. I know how you feel about your self esteem and your plate in a restaurant. At my husband's family's Christmas dinner at a buffet restaurant, I never eat as much--I'm the fattest person in the family and am afraid people will be whispering about what's on my plate.

Nailkita, sorry 'bout your bad day at work. Do you think your being back to 200 may be just excess water weight due to the sodium intake being high? You surely have come a long way since your 2008 weight, though. Don't forget to continue giving yourself credit for that.

Amy, when I can't sleep I play on the computer and don't eat ONLY BECAUSE because we never eat at the computer. I know a couple people who ruined their keyboards by getting food crumbs or spilling drinks on them so that rule has two purposes--saving the keyboard AND my diet. If I watched TV or read a bood or did anything else, I'd probably be snacking while doing it.

Mern...luckily I eat lunch about an hour after everyone else. Today it was a half hour later. So most of the 'good stuff' was gone. That is another of my tricks to not eat so much. I will wait until there isn't all the good stuff left. So I had some salad with a bit of oil dressing, penne pasta with marinara (about ten noodles worth) and a 3oz chicken breast with a small bit of mozz melted on it. It was very good and I know now that I would go there for dinner but I did not overdo it. Actually I walked past the brownies that were sitting on the table and got my bottle of water. Later this afternoon I was feeling snacky and this morning I had forthought to bring an extra yogurt in case I missed the luncheon because sometimes I don't make lunch on time in my position. So I had my 80 calorie fat free yogurt for an afternoon snack and feel good about my day.

Ok guys Im back....and its been one hell of a week. Totally crashed and burned on anything healthy or exercising this week so I am should be in the hall of shame. But I have been on an interviewing whirlwind all week long. Was able to get three interviews at three places and all of them called me back to come in again. So very happy about that. The downside is that trying to schedule all these around my crazy work schedule, has made me eat anything quick that was around me. And a few glasses of wine to relax. Today we have family coming over so I had to clean, go to yet another interview and get ready to make dinner. So today will be another wash.

But tomorrow is a new day and I am all set to get back on track. Haven't read anything on here in a few days so sorry I missed whatever is going on with everyone. But hopefully you all have been more productive and motivating than I have been this week. TGIF!!!

I'm a pumpkin baby, so throw birthday cake (better yet brownies) and a box of ice cream at that mess of orange and black wrappers and I'm right there with you.

April! Wow! You did one fabulous job at the Italian restaurant, and then to walk past the brownies was just incredibly great. Way to go! I had a fat free yogurt today for dessert after dinner of cold, skinless chicken, fresh spinach, avacado and horseradish sauce on half a low carb tortilla. My fave yogurt flavor is lemon--what's yours?

Mike, wow, thanks for the tip on Sam's larger jar of Naturally More PB! I'll look for that next time I'm there. A huge LOL on typing in white so as to avoid tempting Amy, Queen of Food Porn. And guess who is voted King of Food Porn. There's a place at the mall, maybe Aunt Annie's(?) that has the cinnamon and sugar ones. Once when I was off the wagon I snagged a piece of my granddaughter's and it was incredibly delicious. (LOL--my mouth started watering as I was typing that.) I never tried Sam's in that flavor. LOL At the Dollar Tree dollar store in Ohio, Bakers Best brand plain ones come six (2.5 oz. each) in a box for $1.

Ann, sometimes life just plain gets in the way of our best laid dietary plans. Way to go on getting a fresh start tomorrow. Best wishes on the job interviews.
