has anyone else tried toning shoes?

I haven't tried the Shape Ups, but three of the girls at work wear them and love them. 10 hours on a concrete floor is hard on the feet. Last year for my birthday, I bought some Alegria shoes, they were expensive but they've held up extremely well. Still as comfortable as when I bought them in July, and they still look good too. Considering I can kill a pair of sneakers at work in 2 months or less, that's pretty good mileage.

I bought the Dr. Sholls ones at Walmart. Not sure if they do anything as far as extra toning, but they are very comfortable. I have flat feet and the bump in the arch eliminated the arch cramps I tend get.
But, yes can be tricky when going down stairs. And I am also balance challenged, and haven't fallen yet.

I've ordered from shein canada several times now, and their wide selection of clothing always impresses me. While the quality can vary, most items match the description and size chart. The one time I had to return an item due to fitting issues, the process was easy and hassle-free. This is a good platform for affordable fashion.

It sounds like the shoes might be too tight or not the right shape for your feet, especially since both fell asleep after just wearing them around the living room. Foot numbness can result from pressure on nerves or circulation, which is often a sizing or fit issue rather than a problem with the shoe type itself. Since you heavily supinate and have high arches, you may need a wider size, a different width, or an insole that better supports your arches without pinching. For times off the track or casual wear, a mens dress loafer with a proper fit might also provide better comfort and reduce pressure on your feet. Try wearing the shoes with socks for a short period and see if sizing up or adjusting insoles improves comfort.

It sounds like your feet are reacting to the Shape-Ups, which can happen, especially if you have high arches, plantar fasciitis, and supinate heavily. The “falling asleep” sensation is likely due to pressure points or fit issues. Make sure you have the correct size and width, and try breaking them in gradually for short periods. When shopping for women shoes online, it’s important to check sizing charts carefully and read reviews about fit and comfort. Using supportive insoles can help with supination and plantar fasciitis. If the tingling continues after a few days, consult a podiatrist to ensure the shoes are safe for your feet.
