Hey ladies, wow it's so nice to be missed. I'm sorry I haven't been on much. I was sick the week of Thanksgiving and the week after. Then last week things were just nuts. I'm the "Gingerbread House Lady", so I've been baking up a freaking storm. The beauty of gingerbread is that I don't really care for it, so I can bake and bake and bake and not eat any of it. This year I'm planning to produce around 60 gingerbread houses. Each of my girls gets to have a GB house party in their classroom, it's sort of like our gift to their class. Then I issued a GB house throw down to the chefs at the local brew pub (that was the 2nd pint talking), so now I have to come up with something phenomenal to show them up with. Also the kids have been keeping us really busy in the evenings and weekends with plays, swim club, parties, etc etc. You know when I was a kid I always used to get just a little down after the holidays, but not anymore. I still love Christmas, but now I look forward to the peace and quiet of January.
