Default 7-Day Motivational Thread-11/22/10

Good morning ladies. I hope everyone is off to a great week.

I have been sick since Sunday. My fever finally broke this morning around 4. So I am trying to get up and get moving today. Needless to say I havent exercised since Sunday. I am glad I'm getting over the sickness before Thanksgiving.

My goals are pretty slim this week:

1. Exercise Wednesday-Sunday at least 30 minutes
2. Drink 128oz of water
3. At least maintain my current weight!

Glad you are better too! I think I stayed around 1,200 cal's today (my one day out of about 18 days of 3,000 calories!). I also jogged 3 mi yesterday and 2 today and have my Turkey Trot on Thursday!

Default Trying to get back at it.

rubypeanut,
good luck on your turkey trot. It sounds like so much fun. We were snowed in here today with blizzard conditions; all schools closed; they wouldn't even attempt to plow outside the city limits. I doubt we could ever do anything like a turkey trot where I'm from. I do a 5k every summer and push someone in a wheelchair through. That's a great time.
gmantych,
Glad to hear you're feeling a little better. I was sick for a whole week a little while back. I stilll have the cough that lingers on. I will work out good one day and then feel like I'm coming down with the cold again the next. It's very frustrating and I'm trying not to get discouraged because I was doing so well before I got sick in the first place.

My goals for the rest of this week are to get some sort of exercise every day.
Drink water (which I do poorly at when I'm sick).
Visualize myself how I want to look by Christmas.

Hang in there ladies! We're doing this!!!

Hi everyone!

Chiming in late here on Wednesday - where is everyone this week? Baking, cooking, shopping, travelling?

So far, so good over here. My goals for the week:

1) eat an average of 1200-1300 cal a day
2) take care to get all the nutrients/vitamins I need
3) get at least 7 hours of sleep a night
4) dust off my Callanetics tapes and do at least one session this week

I looked into a nearby gym to try out, but won't be able to this week, since I have my kids with me. That'll be one of next week's goals!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!

Default Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

Well I spoke a little prematurely on Tuesday saying I was getting better. I woke up Wednesday with a horrible stomach virus. I havent been able to eat anything. I missed dinner with DH's mom last night. I sure wont be eating anything today either. The only good thing about this is I dont think I will gain any weight this week. Just trying to find something good out of feeling so bad and missing all the great food!

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
