Hello. We work in facility security and are currently purchasing protective equipment. We're looking into protection against shrapnel and blast waves in emergency situations. Has anyone had any practical experience using ballistic blankets with Level IIIA protection? How effective are they at containing hazardous objects and protecting windows and doors? I'd love to hear from anyone who's purchased this equipment.

Judging by the specs and reviews, this blanket effectively stops fragments, shrapnel, and pistol bullets in .44 Magnum and 9mm calibers.
