How do you make money on the crypto market? Is mining profitable or are there other options?

Seeing more questions lately about TON and local currency conversions, especially in the Philippines. I had to check TON to PHP rates recently and realized it’s not always easy to find clear explanations. Pages like Paybis are useful mainly because they show how conversions are calculated, not just the number itself. That helped me understand the spread and how market movement affects the final amount. Even if you’re not actively trading, knowing how your crypto value translates into fiat is important for planning. It’s especially relevant if you’re moving between wallets or considering cashing out at some point.

I make money in the crypto market using several approaches, not just mining. Mining can still work, but only if you have access to cheap electricity and the right equipment, which isn’t realistic for everyone. I personally focus more on investing, trading, and staking, where flexibility matters a lot. When trading, it’s crucial to understand how frequently you can enter and exit positions, and articles like this one on how often you can buy and sell Bitcoin on exchanges helped me set realistic expectations https://paybis.com/blog/how-often-ca...-on-exchanges/. Overall, crypto offers many opportunities, but success depends more on strategy, discipline, and risk management than on any single method.

I’ve heard mining nowadays doesn’t make any profit. And there are still people who want to mine, dump a ton of money into equipment, and end up with nothing.

In the end, nothing is pretty vague. Nothing immediately? Or nothing at all? Now mining works so that you won’t get anything right away. There are great platforms like cuverse, where you can mine on a contract basis in powerful data centers, but even on the platform, in articles and guides, it clearly says that modern mining is for those who are ready to work long-term.

One thing that some crypto traders explore — besides the usual strategies like HODLing, staking, or active trading — is trying to get a sense of market sentiment and crowd expectations before making moves. Tools like Zephyr offer community-driven prediction markets where users can stake on outcomes and see how people are positioned on price directions or events. It’s another angle that some traders use alongside charts and news to inform their decisions.
