Renting a convertible long term
Hey guys. I'm in Dubai on a project for the next 3-4 months. Since the weather is getting nice again, I was thinking it would be fun to rent something better than a standard sedan. Maybe a convertible, like a Ford Mustang? The problem is, most places only seem to rent these as 1-day "supercar" rentals at crazy high prices. Does anyone know a company that does monthly rentals for sports cars or convertibles at a reasonable (not totally insane) price?

That's a great idea! The weather is perfect for it. You're right, most "exotic" places charge a fortune per day. But some of the larger monthly rental companies have "premium" or "sports" categories in their regular fleet, not just for tourists. I actually saw a Ford Mustang Convertible on the Octane site when I was booking my regular car https://octane.rent/monthly-car-rental-dubai/ They are more of a long-term rental agency, not a tourist-trap supercar place. So the pricing is structured monthly and is much more reasonable. They have over 150 cars, so it's not just basic models. You get all the same benefits like included maintenance and insurance, just on a much cooler car. You should check their main monthly page and you can filter for convertibles or sports.

I have never used the services of private drivers or premium transport, but now I need to. I'm a little worried: how can I tell if the service is adequate, the cars are normal, and the driver is professional? What should I pay attention to?

If we're talking about high-end services, the best example for me is definitely https://www.ewlimo.com/ . They have a clear systemic approach, from the website to the drivers.
