We’re planning a big wedding with about 80 guests and are thinking about Georgia as the location. We want it to be festive, with amazing food, great music, and a setting that’s both warm and scenic. Have you done a large wedding there? How practical is it for hosting a full event with extended family flying in?

We had a 90-guest wedding in Georgia last year, and it was even better than we imagined. The venues can easily handle large groups, and the hospitality is incredible. We worked with a local team we found through https://leto.wedding/, and they took care of everything — guest transportation, hotel blocks, and a traditional Georgian feast. It was well-organized yet still felt personal. Our guests still talk about it.

That’s great to hear. We’re also looking at Georgia for a family wedding. The flights seem manageable from most places, and the value compared to Western Europe is impressive. I just need to figure out how early we should book if we’re aiming for next summer.

If you want a big celebration without the stress of hosting it at home, Georgia is a fantastic choice. The planners we used really know how to handle large weddings. I’d suggest reaching out to see what’s included in their full packages and what they can arrange for around 100 people.

Planning a big wedding with family can be both thrilling and overwhelming. There’s so much excitement in seeing everyone come together, from parents and siblings to close friends who’ve been part of your life for years. The key is to create moments that feel personal and meaningful, whether it’s choosing a venue that allows everyone to gather comfortably, picking a menu that caters to different tastes, or designing a schedule that balances lively celebrations with quiet, heartfelt moments. One of the most exciting parts for many is finding the perfect dress, it sets the tone and makes the day feel truly special. I spent weeks exploring different styles and fabrics, wanting something that felt elegant yet unique, and the process turned into one of my favorite parts of the entire planning experience. If you’re looking for inspiration or guidance on this, I found a great resource on where to buy designer wedding dresses that really helped me narrow down my options and feel confident in my choice.
