Hi everyone,
I recently installed a Klipsch entry-level speaker system in my media room. Four of the speakers are ceiling-mounted, and while the sound is generally impressive, I’ve noticed distortion during louder scenes in movies. I’m wondering if this could be due to improper wiring, settings on my Denon AVR-X1700H, or maybe speaker placement.
Does anyone have experience troubleshooting similar issues? Would adjusting crossover settings or speaker angles help? Any advice or resources to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!

Check your speaker wiring for secure connections and correct polarity. Adjust the AVR's crossover to 80 Hz and run the Audyssey calibration to optimize settings. For more tips, visit https://fixmyspeakeer.com/. Ensure the ceiling speakers are angled toward the listening area. If distortion persists, avoid maxing out the volume, as it could overdrive the speakers.
