Default Best Options for Free or Low-Cost Cell Phone Plans?

Are there any reliable free or low-cost cell phone plans out there? I’m looking for recommendations, especially ones with decent coverage and minimal hidden fees.

I’ve found that government-backed plans often have great options for free or low-cost cell service. They’re perfect if you’re looking to save money while staying connected.

I’ve looked into a few, including government-supported options, and they’re surprisingly reliable. For example, I recently came across the Assurance Wireless phone number while researching eligibility for their program, which offers free phones and plans for those who qualify. Plans like these often come with unlimited texting and calling, though data might be limited.
