I’ve heard there are mobile apps in Astana that can help with finding drugs and pharmacies. Can anyone share their experience with these? How accurate are they, and do they offer features like home delivery? I’m especially curious about how they fared during the COVID-19 lockdowns when physical visits were limited.

One app that I’ve used and can recommend is I-teka https://i-teka.kz/astana/medicamentsalphabetically It’s a medical startup that got really popular during the lockdown and has stayed reliable ever since. What’s great about it is the range of features it offers. You can search for drugs by name, check which pharmacies have them in stock, and even get directions. I used it a lot during the pandemic when going out wasn’t an option. The app showed me which pharmacies had home delivery options, and I was able to get my medication without leaving home. It also has details on medical centers and doctors, which is super useful if you need more than just over-the-counter meds. I prefer I-teka because it’s user-friendly, accurate, and saves time, especially in a big city like Astana.

Thanks for the advice! Next time I need a pharmacy, I'll try I-teka. Sounds like a reliable tool. I looked at the site quickly, very convenient filters, I like that you can continue searching in the same pharmacy and not have to run around to different ones.

I used a few pharmacy apps during COVID and they were actually pretty helpful for prescription deliveries. Most had real-time inventory checking so you could see if your medication was in stock before making the trip. The delivery services were a lifesaver during lockdowns, especially for elderly family members who couldn't get out safely

Those pharmacy apps definitely became essential during the pandemic. What's important is making sure you're using legitimate pharmacy services and not anything sketchy. If anyone's struggling with substance use issues or prescription drug dependence that might have developed during that stressful time, there are proper treatment resources available like https://unitedrecoveryproject.com/ that can help with recovery support. The isolation and anxiety from lockdowns unfortunately led some people down difficult paths with medication misuse, but professional help is out there
